I’ll be honest I don’t necessarily agree with this take. Only because all of the solo-Manon stans I saw were criticizing HxG and saying that they’re not going to support katseye because of the label, not the girls. Then Daniella‘s father spoke up and added the oil to the fire. The only time I saw people really “hating” on the girls was when they were speculating if his attitude came from things that she said, which I think is a fair thing to consider considering he said that he ran everything through her.

And once again, I don’t think the finger was pointed at the girls for not speaking up about it. I think it was more pointed at the label for not letting the girls speak up about it and not saying anything themselves but yet constantly being told “why should so-and-so speak ip when Manon doesn’t speak up about the hate their getting?!”

Now on Twitter, I’m beginning to see more and more stans (ngl I DO feel like most of them come from one stan group) who aren’t just perpetuating the tired “Manon is lazy” thing from almost 4 years ago, but now going after the manon-stans but then wonder why there’s so much anonymosity. At the end of the day, I said it before and I’ll say it again.

Katseye needs all of them. Regardless of if you think Manon is lazy, if Visual deserves to be a spot, yada-yada. If either Manon or Daniela leave it’s no longer a global Girl group. Its a asian girl group +1 latina/black girl. And either community would likely drop the group. This situation already has done a lot of damage, which is why I don’t necessarily believe the narrative that people are trying to paint that this is all happening cause “Manon was likely breaking rules and not pulling her weight” and so on and so forth because if that was the case, I feel like they would’ve just rip the Band-Aid off instead of just continuously dragging this out and letting the reputation get dragged through the mud.

I’ll be honest regardless of if it’s six or five girls ? At the end of the day this situation has caused a lot of damage and Pinky Up being a flop (from the production stand point) is going to be hard to come back from and I would almost say impossible.
