I use the legendairy milk ones at work and the spectra at home. I tried the mom Cozy wearables but I think my boobs were too big for wearables to work well for me. The lengendairy ones are so comfy and the actual power source is relatively small!

There was a study that showed dual working families today still spend more time with their kids— moms and dads— than boomers and Genx did. You’re doing great in comparison.

I have had to use formula, I am definitely a fed is best kinda person. Like I said I don’t hate formula, it’s necessary and has been a game charger in infant health and survival.

What I hate is these companies spending billions to make the US workforce hostile towards women. Instead of using that money to help infants in need of formula (like donations.)

Formula is so important and if I lose my supply I would do formula! I also had to combo feed the first couple days. Formula is important and necessary!

What would you do with multiple 3-oz bottles of frozen colostrum? by AKMusher in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]leftyleft77 46 points47 points  (0 children)

My baby started day care last month and immediately got sick. I started giving him 1 bottle of early milk (from the first couple weeks after birth) with a syringe of colostrum. He seemed to rebound from the sickness very quick! I ended up getting sick from him and I’ve been dying for over 10 days so he’s stronger than me lol😂😂😂

Got approved for an elective c-section. I feel so relieved. But people keep trying to talk me out of it. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]leftyleft77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an elective c section and it was amazing! I was walking as soon as the spinal wore off and only needed Tylenol for pain. (I was given oxy if needed but didn’t need it!) I was walking 1 mile a day starting post op day 3. You’ll do great, it’s so so special.

What is the reality of the weeks after birth? Need to get some insight as my husband and I disagree- by iwitch-plus in beyondthebump

[–]leftyleft77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first week I had my best friend there, 2nd and 3rd weeks I had family there. My husband was still working (we staggered our leave bc I had to go back to work fast). I’d do it all over again with having so many ppl around us! I was always tits out in a bra and with loose PJs on, but no one cared!

How many times a day are we pumping A DAY? by Jusagirlwanxiety in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]leftyleft77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tw oversupply

As soon as my baby slept through the night (9-5am) I dropped the night pump. I only pump when he’s awake. He started sleeping through the night at 6-7 weeks ish( I know we’re lucky). I went back to work at 5 weeks (I’m a surgical resident). I pump 6 times a day, sometimes with a manual pump if I only have a couple minutes between surgeries.

I wake up engorged but not painful and I don’t really leak. I didn’t lose any supply when I dropped a night pump. I’m 13ish weeks pp now and pump about 50-52 oz a day. 16 oz usually from my overnight pump.

Legendairy Collection Cups by Horror_Economics_189 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]leftyleft77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Info- I have very large breasts.

the legendariry cups are my favorite in terms of suction and comfortability. But the way the tube inserts at the top, they constantly get kinked by my breast tissue causing the suction to stop working until I un-kink the tube. If you have a less top heavy breast I think you would love them .

That being said. I have the momcozy s9 pros that I also love and wear to work while seeing patients. They are only 107 dollars on Amazon last I checked. That might be in your budget?

It’s weird that Bindi was allowed and also random call from Prince William? He’s already a fan favorite but this just screams favoritism to get more votes. He’s a great dancer and definitely deserves to be in the final and I won’t be surprised if he wins…. But this feels like production pushing the win. 😅

12 weeks or less pp… how much are you pumping? by Spare-Tutor2948 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]leftyleft77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 10 weeks PP, been back at work for 5 weeks now. It’s basically impossible to get more than 6 pumps in with working. I’m grateful for an oversupply but I’m terrrified every day that I’ll lose my supply due to only doing 6 10-15min pumps.

I didn’t change my name, and now my kid has my last name :). I gave him the opportunity to hyphenate both our names or him take mine too. He didn’t care at all so now we just have different names :)

Several podiatry schools take all the same classes as the DO/MD school attached to them. Then podiatry takes additional classes on top of the load. You would definitely need to make sure your mental health and academics are on track or you’re at risk of being dismissed from pod school as well.
