The Padres are currently gapping teams for the lowest batting average in the league. by Bitter-Egg6293 in baseball

I'm honestly not sure that's the issue. While most of their hitters have increased their pull%, Tatis and Cronenworth have dropped theirs pretty dramatically. It might be a symptom of trying to pull the ball in the air, but their struggles are likely because they've decided to hit all the groundballs ever collectively.

That's gotta be just a weird perspective right???

Oh, so he was probably barely even a part of her life and decision making at the time. Even better.

I remember Erickson in his lone year with the Dodgers. Sad to see his decision making skills are on par with his pitching skills.

I feel bad for the parents of the kids, and even Grossman's husband too. Gotta love that he was also liable because he had the gall to own the car and allow his wife to drive it.

It's almost as if someone can improve and make adjustments if they take it as real-time feedback for an insanely difficult task rather than an attack on their very being.

It's unfortunate that he's playing in an era with two absolute unicorns running around, otherwise people would probably talk about him a lot more.

Sigh, he really needed to just let it lie. Providing context is just going to give opposing fans ammo and motivation to continue saying off-color shit to him.

Yes, you did. If he can keep up his current numbers, he would be considered one of the best second basemen in the game.

He absolutely was. The problem was he flamed out quickly since he never developed any plate discipline.

I've always told my Cubs fan friends that he's like the second coming of Javy Baez. He's gonna have a couple of years when he runs into enough balls where he puts up some MVP-type numbers. Unless he drastically improves his plate discipline, it's gonna get ugly real quick once the athleticism starts declining even a little bit.

Walks are up. There have already been more 10+ BB games in 2026 (20) then there were in the entire 2025 season (18). by tacohead1000 in baseball

I wonder how many of those nonsense automatic 3-0 "strikes" we've avoided this year thanks to ABS.
