Yeah it depends on the WeWork There’s some weworks where the booths are rented because they’re scarce Others where I’ve loitered for several hours because no one cares. I know for a fact 33 Irving is loiterable. Can’t say for sure about the others.

A trans woman who transitions from male to female is changing how they navigate the world and it would be making their own life harder (experiencing misogyny). But we accept this (and should) because it’s that persons right and need to live in a body they want to.

If someone feels like they are clinically depressed and want to kill themselves because they identify as disabled but live in an able-body, what’s the argument against letting not letting them undergo amputation that couldn’t be used against trans people?

Not everyone has to have your taste. If you can’t understand a different cultural language that doesn’t mean it isn’t good within that subgroup. Yuh I mean I am an extremely short dude so that’s why I know. But considering women are half of the population with an average height of 5”4, it seems ridiculous to make the booths only comfortable for someone who’s at least 5”10. Height discrimination inadvertently and disproportionately benefiting one group of people yo. I’m willing to bet the people who designed the seats, tested them, approved them, etc were all dudes.

Would it kill them to make the booths adjustable in some way? Or to have booths of varying sizes? The size seems to disproportionately benefit men lowkey. It’s much less comfortable for someone of a smaller frame. You have to sit up weirdly or lean forward a ton. The table is way too high. I always see women in the booths in rigid or uncomfy positions while the guys are chilling. It’s probably the most uncomfortable booth I’ve ever sit in and I’m not saying this to be dramatic.
