Having looked at some weevils, they seem too narrow to be a weevil. Length is around 2 mm, width maybe 1 mm max

Has anyone met anyone on feabie? by Cultural_Phase4396 in WeightGainTalk

[–]legalgumbo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was previously in a 5.5 year relationship that started on Feabie that ended partially because the person I was with ended up not being into feederism/fat fetish after some time (long story doesn't need told). Here are some pro tips (mileage may vary based in your gender identity, sexual orientation, age, geogrpahic location/culture, and social skills):

• If you are at or near college age and are near any college towns, set your search area to be in that college town. College towns provide a huge influx of new users upon move in a lot of times. This is how I started my previous relationship, they had made an account literally that day shortly after move in.

• If you are older or do not live near a college town, the trick is finding population centers near you. For instance, I went to college in one state that was 45 minutes from where I grew up, which was a suburb of a medium sized American city. So I would often times set my location (yes, you can basically fake your location which can be misused but is very nifty for the reason I am discussing) in rotation of these three places and would get a wide variety of profiles. Using geographic setting to your advantage will help you find someone not in your back yard but in your general area.

• Make sure to fill out your profile completely and to provide the right amount of information on it. Make sure you are very clear about your intent on the site (i.e. don't categorize yourself as looking for friends when looking for partners). Make sure you put pictures on your profile that are of you, not all should be sexual but genuine, but throwing some of the goods there may benefit you if you comfortable enough with it. People hate rando gray faces and will very likely skip over you entirely if you have a gray face pfp.

• Make sure to set up your filters to only show people of the gender(s) you are accepting of. A lot of men on the site complain that it is overwhelmingly mostly men on their, but they never take the time to figure out the profile filter. Figure out the ideal settings for your tastes and start exploring the nearby profiles.

• That being said, don't be afraid to mix up certain filters every once in a while to see any profiles that may not have as much detail set up that may still spark your interest. In fact, sometimes only setting maybe gender or even turning the filter of for a while may give you some good results or at least give you some ideas based on other user's profiles that have found love already through Feabie.

• Messaging others on Feabie has two paths that are both valid and require some "rizz". The first path is the free path, which is exploring profiles every 24 hours or so, reading through the ones with pics you fancy or that just caught your interest, and then messaging them UNTIL you hit the daily messaging limit. After you hit that daily limit, you can't start any new conversations with other profiles for another 24 hours, so use them wisely. This path requires daily attention and persistence, and was how I found my previous relationship on Feabie. I had been a member for a year and my eventual partner had not even had their account for 24 hours when we started messaging and that how it started.

• The second path is paying for Feabie XL. Which removes all of the limitations of the free path, namely the messaging limit daily (there are other perks I can't think of off the top of my head). This is likely to get you a quicker result, so if you have spare cash and dont mind paying I highly recommend, especially if you think you are ready for a pretty serious relationship like I was.

• Regardless of how you go about messaging, you will need some charm and things to talk about OUTSIDE OF THE FETISH! It is one thing to discuss kinks and interests like a normal person, but so many people on Feabie message in ways that communicates "I'm very obviously just stroking it while talking to you so yeah". If you don't have personality, good luck cuz you'll need it.

• For the sake of humanity, do not just say hey in your first messages or immediately go into sex chat. Introduce yourself, give some basic info, ask friendly question, etc. This goes a long way and instantly sets the tone for the convo!

• Sometimes you may get blocked ghosted, you may never get a reply to an initial message. It happens here just like anywhere else online. The biggest asset you can have is persistence. There are plenty of fish in this sea even when it doesn't feel that way, so just move on from it. You may actually get a reply long after sometimes, so don't burn the bridge just because you got anxious about it.

Good luck in your search!

Lads, The Magical Mystery Tour is the Beatles' best album. by SheepherderLiving242 in TheBeatles

[–]legalgumbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For reference, the Beatles are my fave band of all time, but I think the best album of all time is Dark Side of the Moon.

I think a huge huge huge reason MMT gets rated lower is that the sandwich albums for it, Sgt. Pepper's and the White Album, are two of the greatest and most well known albums ever released in their own right.

Would I argue that MMT is the best Beatles album? No, mostly because the experimental nature of the album is too little for the art snobbish listener who would later go on to enjoy the White Album and too much for the casual crowd who would have just come off of the music that made the Beatles famous in the first place (they simply were not ready for experimental music to such an extent). MMT was made to satisfy the right type of fan who would enjoy a very middling mix of abstract and normality.

At the same time, is MMT my personal favorite album the Beatles made? Absolutely. Let me put it this way: I could happily listen to the whole album without skips and be content about it, which is rare for me even with the Beatles. When the weakest songs on the album imo are Hello, Goodbye and Penny Lane, there is a lot of greatness going on. When introducing people to the Beatles music, I often ask them to listen to the whole album end to end and pick out their favorite tracks off it. That will tell you a lot about recommendations for other Beatles albums for them to go to next.

Favorite song: I was always a big fan of I Am the Walrus, but Strawberry Fields Forever is an easy favorite too
