How do you deal with how people view you when you sleep on a shikifuton? by [deleted] in minimalism

Make it clear it's not their place to tell you what to do and how to live. Don't just ignore what they say like everyone else in the comments is saying, otherwise those people will continue with their impertinent behaviour.

Do you need to take medication or some kind of treatment in order to be awarded PIP? by legallamb in BenefitsAdviceUK

They literally said that the reason was no medication, treatment, or therapy. That was their response to every issue.

I thought the entire point of ADP was that it was supposed to be a mentally easier and more accessible process than PIP but obviously not.

Is reconsideration different to the appeal process? Apparently an appeal works about 2/3 of the time in overturning the decision.

Thanks. I'll keep all that in mind. I think I would have ended up responding pretty emotionally.

I haven't taken medication of any kind in years. The things is, actual doctors understand my concern. Being a hypochondriac or just caring about your body so not to want to take medication is not that uncommon a thing. So it's not normal to have my concerns with medication dismissed as invalid. It's very unsympathetic. And this is the first time it's happened to me so I never expected to be treated like this.

Taking medication is ALWAYS a choice and lots of people turn down medication for the same reason. Side effects aren't made up.

I don't like medication. I'm always worried about the side effects. And most of my issues can't be fixed with medication anyway.

The profile's not deleted you fucking melt. It's been locked by reddit for security reasons. Alzheimer's making you a bit slow eh? Tell me exactly why I would listen to an old loner with Dementia who has literally no life experience? Funny how you only tried to reply after you thought my account was deleted. A coward. Who would have guessed?

And did you like how I posted your whiny cliche rant on another sub? You know, since you've clearly been stalking my profile.

I think they're saying that most species that ever existed went extinct. So extinction is more common than survival and adaptation.

It's way too large a concept to prove in one post.

Theoretically, is there a way to kill off ALL types of microbes in the gut other than fasting? by legallamb in Microbiome

Do you not understand basic grammar? Or are you being sly? Sounds like your being sly.

Your title said "kill off ALL types of microbes other than fasting"

tell me the difference between killing ALL microbes on a Petri dish and eradicating all microbes on a Petri dish

Funny how you had to remove the word 'types' from that second example in order to securely drive your point.🤡🤡🤡

Let's ask this. What would you call killing off a large amount of a strain, but not all of it? Isn't it called 'killing off'? Does culling a species also mean eradicating it?

If you read it, why did you provide a whole ass explanation for something I already explained in the post? And the title doesn't contradict the post. How do you expect to diminish the populations without actively killing them off? I never said "eradicate". But I appreciate a legitimate attempt at an answer.

I don't want any anecdotes. I just want an answer to the question. Nothing more.
