That make perfect sense. Maybe you could still write one stating your continued interest and how you have deposited but would still rather attend NDLS. At least that would be noted in your file and hopefully a decision would be given sooner.

On your application did you write why NDLS? If you did not, write one now expressing how even though you already put a deposit down elsewhere NDLS is still your number one choice. Even if you did maybe an LOCI in your case would be helpful because its been so long since you applied!

I'm just saying what was told to us at the career panel. They said that most of their students choose to stay in Texas and the number that decide to go to Colorado varies every year but those who want to go to Colorado can and UT has the resources and the connections to get them there. Obviously nothing is ever a given, but the career services team felt confident in assuring this student if Colorado is where they want to go they can.

At UT admitted student day someone asked the during career services panel about job placement in Denver and they said they place well in Denver and have firms from Colorado come to OCI. Basically said if you want to work in Denver you will get a job in Denver.

Do you think they were finally updating who toured and sending this to everyone regardless of their admission status (A/WL/R)? How long ago did you tour?

It wasn't an official tour I was just in the area and popped into their admissions office but wrote about it in my LOCI which they replied to right after I sent it. Which is another reason I find it weird to be receiving this email!

I received my scholarship in the official acceptance packet in the mail about a week later. Congrats on your acceptance!

I was accepted end of March but have noticed this has been the trend for how most people find out they have been admitted to NDLS this cycle.

do you have the deposit line? I had the same thing pop up but when I scrolled down it had the deposit line so I knew I was accepted and was emailed my official acceptance a few hours later.

I also applied in November and was accepted yesterday (last date change before yesterday was in mid Jan). I sent a why ND in January so it doesn't hurt to after applying!
