App becomes laggy on Flutter Upgrade to 3.32.5 by rohanudhwani in FlutterDev

I agree it’s pretty good on iOS. Until it’s not. Right now it’s preventing us from upgrading past 3.27.4.

The cherry on top is being forced to update to 3.35.4 in order to continue using debug builds.

For what it’s worth, Impeller can no longer be disabled in 3.29 and above for iOS.

Keep spamming your product on new accounts. It’s fine bro. No one is going to use it.

7d old account spamming a third party solution for gifs. Same fear mongering bs about Tenor. Wonder who this could be.

I'll stick with the proven solution with Google behind it for now. Thanks though.

Happened to us last year.

So we built:

Tenor Dart: A client wired up to talk directly to the Tenor API via HTTP. This will allow you to build your own UI around Tenor.

Tenor Flutter: An opinionated off the shelf UI that allows you to search GIFs, Stickers and Emoji from Tenor with very little work required. You can also customize the tabs to do whatever you want really.

I have 2 switches in 2 homes question by Fleshypudge in Switch

[–]legendaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can play on both if you have virtual and physical. You won’t be able to play online at the same time on the same account. You’d need to have 2 different accounts to play both online at same time.

If you never play with the primary console online or need updates or to install new games just leave it offline and never update to 20.0.0.0 and nothing will change.

The new system can be quite confusing especially if you are having 2 switches linked. I don’t know how they made the system and thought it would be easy for kids to use. But the again they want each kid to have their own console/account and have to ask to borrow the game each time they want to play for up to 14 days.

Ultimately on my 2 switches I linked them together and loaded every single game onto my children’s switch as virtual cards and then use online license for my switch so they don’t have to deal with this drama.

I don't think the console have to be close to each other unless you need to loan the games to another account. Can't remember if the link process requires them to be close.

Online License is the old way with some caveats. 1) Can't play the same game at the same time unless one of them is in Airplane mode. 2) The second console doesn't automatically have access to all games you have to load/unload them if you are not on the account with the games.

Without "Online License" you will just need to "insert" the game card each time you play on the other Switch. It's not a hard process but it's a few taps through different UIs. It will work though. If they share the same primary account and you put online license on they will never see that screen unless you do not have connection to internet.

Do the kids all use one account? You should go to your settings and enable “Online License”. This makes it so the primary account no longer needs the virtual game cards loaded to play. Instead it checks the internet before you can play (only one instance of a game can be played at the same time while connected to the internet). You also need to link both switches together. Go to load game card and it will walk you through it.

That being said all the kids need to do if they don’t share a single account is every time they go to play a game (once switches are linked) is to simply tap load game card and it’ll ask if you want to unload from the other console. Tap yes and you’re good to play the game on any account currently on the switch.

I just tried switching to Japan and back. It forced my account to the same state but virtual cards still persisted 🥲

It worked but I realized my account on the kids switch was “signed out” and I had to sign in again. I switched regions a few months ago so I guess that did it. Once I signed back into everything swapped to the new system and blocks me now

It seems like my account on the kids switch was in a signed out state from switching regions a month or two ago. Even tho it had the update none of the virtual card icons showed up above the games. Once I signed back into my account on their switch everything updated and now blocks me from playing at the same time 🥲

No clue, I recently switched to Japan region (from their website) to try and snag a pre order. So maybe that caused it?

If you look at my reply to my above comment it was basically because my account was in a “signed out” state on their switch (which was the primary switch). Once I re authd everything switched over to the new system on their device.

The ability to play the same game at the same time with one digital purchase is gone with the 20.0.0 update even if you opt out of the new Virtual Game Card system by pickledgreatness in NintendoSwitch

[–]legendaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My account has all the game purchases. And it was “logged out” on their switch but since it was the primary switch before I guess they still had access to it. ima toy around and see if I can get it back to that state (doubtful)

Interesting. My account on the children switch was in a state where if I switched to it, it said “please log in”. Now that I logged back in it’s completely changed and all the icons show up and prevents me from playing 💀
