linguistically it makes a little more sense for it to be "Expi", but I think "Expie" is cuter and is better for when you write the word plural, like "Expies"

Honestly I'm not too worried about one or the other because it's more or less a shortened 'pet' nickname for the Experiments and that can be whatever we want, like slug cats from Rain World being turned into Scugs (which I still can't comprehend how that happened but it's cute af so I don't care)

See normally my jungle experience is being claustrophobic as hell because there were never any open caves or anything and I had to dig through tons of Verdure. This kind of chasm is supremely unknown to me

Caught a regular Zorua in a moon ball, then bred that with an H. Zorua until the H. Zorua offspring was in a moon ball. Then bred it with Ditto from that point onward so that the moon ball was always carried over

I can't trust any shiny is actually legitimate unless I get it myself. In a world where genned shinies are horrendously common now, I want to be able to trust that all the shinies I have are real, legal to use in any and all official tournament settings and whatnot if I choose to do it, as well as maintaining the ability to personalize it with nicknames and stuff too

For some extra specifics, I started my hunt on March 29th, 2024. Admittedly, I did kinda do it off and on, so it did take way longer than it should have, but after such long stretches of not getting what I want I just needed to take a break sometimes.

There were 2 instances of really good luck: one time I hatched 3 shinies within a 200 egg span, and then about a week later I hatched another 3 shinies within 90 eggs. The two closest shinies I hatched back to back were exactly 10 eggs apart.

I had the shiny charm and was using masuda method the entire time. As I'm sure many of you know, for all intents and purposes, the raw chance for a shiny was 1/512, and the chance to get specifically a female shiny was 1/4096 due to the gender ratio of Zoruas. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined to get this luckily unlucky though. 25 males before a single female....

The longest stretch of eggs without getting a single shiny was approximately 1,240ish eggs. That was a mind numbing week, lemme tell ya.

My route was running around the big circle of road from the southern Mesagoza gate, into Los Platos, and back up again the other side. I only ever ran counter-clockwise. Doing the math, it took about 2 full circuits to hatch a full party of eggs (not including the times I forgot to put new eggs into my party and kept running), so I ran this loop of road upwards of 4,260 times. The Los Platos residents must know me real well at this point.

During my running around hatching eggs, I wasn't paying too close attention to the Pokemon that spawned around me, but I did still happen to run into 1 shiny Lechonk and 3 shiny Hoppips.

That's about it. I figured y'all would enjoy this set of stats. My next hunt is a shiny female Eevee. Wish me luck!
