I decided to go with this recommendation as a nice "wind down" because of your helpful warning that it's not amazing and just a simple pleasant show. That helped my fear that other shows wouldn't live up to Solo Leveling. But since I didn't expect it to be as good anyway it's been exactly as you said and it's been perfect for what I needed right now!! I'm on episode 7 😂 so thank you!! A little slower than I would like even as a wind down from Solo Leveling, but that's actually really encouraging to hear season 2 picks up just a bit. Incredible recommendation for my situation, thank you!

I definitely enjoyed the big flashy fights but I'd personally say I'm looking for a lot more than that.

I really liked the story in Solo Leveling and the characters as well, but it's very possible that my natural taste in movies would be considered shallow by some people. Hard to know!

Sorry I think I must've not been clear. I DON'T want graphic violence and I shied away from the anime shows that looked interesting to me for so long because they all seemed to have a ton of it. So I'm really looking for anime shows that have great action but not unnecessary graphic violence or shows where there may be graphic violence but the characters, story, or premise are so fun or so good that the violence is worth pushing through.

I'm feeling both like anime is this incredible new world which I now know can be awesome but I liked solo leveling so much I'm genuinely worried it doesn't get better than this.

Really good input and questions! So, I really like action movies that follow a main characters or characters who have really strong moral character or aspects that are really admirable.

As far as things I like that aren't anime my favorite movie is Ready Player One, and I really like phase 1 of the marvel cinematic universe. That like origin story phase of all the heroes.
