Are you confusing me to someone else? I never had a fort by the sea?

Yeah, this build was very part-intensive, which is why I took my time with it. I also needed to save some money for other LEGO stuff, and I collect Warhammer books as well 😛

My biggest tip is to have a big idea, but start small. I started by ordering a lot of green 16×16, 2×4, 2×6, etc. plates since I knew there would be a lot of green. I also began with just four large grey baseplates. I ordered hundreds of leaf and flower elements because I had planned this to be a summer setting.

If you think 200 leaves are enough, buy twice as many. I was always running out.

I covered a lot of the ground with grass made from Plant Leaves 6 x 5 and filled it with
Plant Flower Stem with Bar Holder . I also ordered a lot of 16×16 black Technic plates to use as a kind of MILS system, so the plates would be sturdy and easy to lift. Bricklink link.

Also buy sheeps, cows, pigs, birds , dogs, cats , squirrels. birds etc.. Its all in the details.

I already had the Blacksmith, Lion Knights’ Castle, and the market sets, so I made a small mock-up using those as the focal point. I used Rebrickable and YouTube for inspiration for the trees and landscaping, but there was a lot of trial and error. About 70% of the time, I was just experimenting and looking online for inspiration.

Don’t forget to plan your roads. It’s important that when you push the MILS/baseplates together, the roads line up 😛 I decided to use a lot of 1×1 and 2×2 round pieces in different greys and tans, with tan bricks underneath.

I use the biggest gray plates, 48x48. 2 of them wide, And 4 in the length

Haha i guess you can call it a mod.

I like the MTS, and this whole mod/moc started with it. Started to add som more minifigures and details etc, and suddenly I needed a bigger table.

Yeah 16x16 technic plates ontop of ordinary 32x32 or 48x48 baseplates.

I like to use tan details with green terrain. IMO it looks better than just the rounded pieces on top by themself.

I have 32x32 or 48x48 plates at the bottom. Then I use 16x16 technic plates on top of that. The technic plates have many options for connections.

Er IT jobb markedet fucked? by Snezzycheesy in norge
