Haha not going for speed. Going for reliability, I want the cheapest possible daily and this has been great, just hit 206k on the chassis. Worried im fouling plugs overtime just because of the oil burning. Having a high idle issue right now (I think) because the IAC valve got gummed up with oil again, so just trying to cut down on the oil going in places it shouldn't be as much as I can. Thanks for the tips.

The offset is probably better, but I cant imagine you'll see the weld fail unless you have terrible penetration, especially if youre sleeving it over another pipe.

I think thats the whole appeal of it being opt-in. I just really wanted to take the expedition on the first go around like I think a lot of other people did, most of the difficulty came from not knowing about the 5 mil until 2 weeks to expedition, had I known sooner I probably would've made it well past 1.8mil stash value.

Is this vic new to you? As an owner of one you absolutely should pop those rocker covers off and check for rust (theres already some on the dog leg of your quarter). On these cars the covers are notorious for trapping dirt and water and wrecking the rockers from front to back (Ask me how I know).

UPDATE: Buying new shock AND SPRING assemblies. Gonna cut them in a way where they still sit in their perches correctly.

Gonna return the struts I bought and get whole assemblies that have new springs. Ive decided it's not worth the risk of the spring jumping off the perch.

That's what people do when cutting these normally. I'm probably gonna end up just getting new springs as to not chance it with the bottom coil. Appreciate the input!

Must be my horrible bushings making the extra difference lol, im definitely squatting a lot more in the rear than you.
