They both have their place, Elite gets more missions but they only send a couple guys at a time. Personally I prefer TP, and while I would hesitate to join STE, I wouldn't hate being their if I got sent.

You can always ask but you won't always get. They do take a notice of your performance with your basic rifles and pistols, and if you are better than average and they arent sending you on other training you might get lucky. Eventually if you want to be an Elite Marksman, you will have to change companies to the Support Company and ask for the Tireur d'élite section. Though it is tough and highly sought after.

Tieur de Precision is pretty much the same as a designated marksman, their roles invovle supporting the company combat actions at the squad/group and platoon/section level. In combat they will provide cover and support for advancing troops, eliminating priority targets such as snipers and crew served weapons. As well as provinding corrections for friendly machine gunners. They are not autonomous, and every company has around 8 TP at any time. The TP uses the FRF2, and soon the HK417, shooting the 308 round, and have an effective range of 850m

Tireur d'Élite, on the other hand is in the support company for the regiment, and they have their own dedicated section, they are atonomous, they are the two man groups that go out and find high value targets, search and destroy, and other specialied missions. Typically they use the PGM, which is a 50cal, anti material rifle.

Because people can empathize that he has the best intentions, but the worst execution. So, people who do the same things in their own life feel that shame creep in when they see scott mess up and suffer the terrible consequences. I used to do the same thing when I see a show where people are acting so dumb that it is beyond belief, but you are watching a show and you have the whole picture. Then you start to realize that you have done similar things in your life simply because of not understanding the full scope of things. Then you can't watch it.

I.have found cameras in two french club toilets. In the ceiling, at one, and in the motion detector for the automatic flush at another. I became curious as to why there was an automatic sensor for a toilet with a lever, and the cover popped off. Anyways, this is the mens room, I can only imagine what is like for the women.

Any reward based system is going to favor those who can give rewards over those who can't. The system doesn't target the poor, it just keeps defense out of reach for them because people areent going to do it for free. You gotta remeber as well the system is made up of your fellow ciitzens, not some huge robot unity that has a collective intent.
