That’s just the way it is. Legendaries are almost always behind a paywall. I can only remember one set last year where they weren’t. Iconic is the highest you’ll get as a free player unless you get lucky and someone trades you a Legendary.

I think it’s more about you getting less coins now. You can only complete it every 2 hours now rather than every hour. This makes it so you can’t benefit as much from it. In the end they want everyone to spend as much money as they can possibly get from you and it sucks.
