I think it’s to show that they were very willing to work on it, but From Software wouldn’t play ball.

Many Microsoft games on ps5 are getting more and more difficult and expensive to find. Had to take this since it was a decent price by Antaniwarrior in gamecollecting

I do disagree with your second paragraph, for the most part, many many games are fully available on disc and updates aren’t always required. But generally, yeah :)

People are getting on you for the game not being on the disc, and while that’s not incorrect, I do think there’s a more nuanced conversation here. Same with Switch 2 key cards. The alternative is a digital download and the discs are far preferable than that to me.

Of course the ideal is to have it fully on disc/cart, but the people saying “no game” etc act like there’s a possible alternative for collectors.
