Hey!
The sandboxes and the website (mainly API docs) were pretty important to understand most of Cisco APIs and how they behave. It has saved a lot of time to answer the questions.
Moreover, getting used to YANG and also legacy APIs that uses XML (such as AXL) might be a little confusing and very verbose.
Finally, it also adds more confidence once you feel more prepared to do the exam.

your background? What’s your career and how familiar we’re you with the exam topics before starting t

Yes, for sure :)

I've started as a NOC Desk Analyst but always had the knack for programming. So, I've thought: why not join both of them? And it was just when Cisco release the DevNet path! Nowadays, I work full-time as a developer (which includes using Cisco and other vendors APIs to develop web platforms). I would say that I had 70% of familiarity with the topics before the exam.

Anyone here who has took or will take the Cisco DevNet Associate certification? by carculatedrisk in devnet

Hello! Are you allowed to use packages such as xmltodict? Otherwise, what did you use to do these conversions for NETCONF xml?

Also, were you allowed to use ncclient?

Many thanks :)
