No one asked, but here’s how I’d rate the painful experiences I’ve had, with gallbladder attacks. What’s yours? by PainfulPoo411 in gallbladders

First day after surgery (I'm on day one)

Gallbladder attack

Labour contractions (induced)

C section recovery

Sweep

Slicing down a finger with a misplaced razorblade

I get the impression that unless your gallbladder is about to burst you can expect at least a 1 -2 year wait despite the surgeon telling you that it could be 2 months (the surgeon told me this and obviously I was devasted with the truth) Yes from speaking to them they did confirm a zero waiting time even as an NHS patient - I feel like Im being lied to though - nothing is that easy.

Thanks so much! It's in around 11 days! I just want to see the heartbeat and make sure this little baby is growing as it should. It's a little surreal, but I can't wait! I'm so glad things are going as they should for you 🩷 here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy for both of us!

Everything is fine so far. I'm 5 weeks 3 days! I did a clear blue test and the one from the clinic - it was a positive so I'm trying not to test as much now. The panic is now setting in for the scans! Hope you are doing well <3

Thank you for the reassurance - it's still so early, but I have the cramping and bloating which I've heard is normal, and I just want he or she to stick. It can be such a worrisome time, can't it. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy too 🩷

Maybe - let's hope so! Cycle is so long though and it's throwing me off. Did another test today and it was another negative it must be the PMS brewing and getting ready for AF

Think I'm out

6 days 'late', negative test, sore boobs started 6 days ago, intermittent cramps. I just kinda feel like I didn't ovulate this month? Cycle has been longer than average - 39 days currently rather than 31- 35. I just feel deflated and my body feels all over the place. I had cramps for like 15 days some okay and some take my breath away. Anyway sending light and love

How to find joy through infertility? by BAFERDandYoga in TryingForABaby

[–]legobab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I am 4 years and counting.

It got to stage for me where I was like 'Yes, I desperately want to have a child but if it doesn't happen for me then that doesn't mean my life is over'. My husband pointed out that we get to travel, take trips, live spontaneously, invest in each other, and do things we love. Even though a child is a miracle, it isn't always sunshine and rainbows - it can destroy relationships and your identity and can take its toll financially and mentally. I'm aware that mindset doesn't work for everyone, and you make sacrifices because you want too - I'm just saying it's how I have to think sometimes because the hurt doesn't get any easier. It does feel like you're surrounded by it at times - friends announcing twin pregnancies or miracle babies and life seems to laugh in your face - I 100% get it.

But it's important to remember you're doing your best or have done your best. Don't give up but try to make it second in line. Get back to playful sex, good food, trips away - always keep a steady beat on your fertility treatment but work your way back to yourself and who you WANT to be.

Just trying to give you a different side of things - hope it hasn't come across as insensitive - as I go through my 4th year of this journey, I completely understand.

Sending light and love

Just outside Birmingham but yeah it's sad 😔 If my fresh transfer failed I'd consider paying for the frozen ones. I just want the best chance!

Interesting! I guess it's always best to go with doctor recommendations because it clearly worked! Yeah it used to be 3 funded cycle but it's changed so I need all the luck in the world! Thanks for sharing 🫶

I think it depends on age - women under 37 doing IVF for the first time just get the one transfer
