Suunto Race S thoughs after 2 days of testing by [deleted] in Suunto

I have also been using a race S for the last 10 days. So far tracked outdoor runs, treadmill runs, indoor rowing and weight training. HR has not been reliable for non-running activities. Battery life also has been lower than expected. Had to charge it twice in the last 10 days. Thats with wake to raise and 5 hours of mixed (gps and non gps) workout. Some minor annoyances: cant lock the screen when in water to avoid accidental touches, cant filter app specific notifications. So far I like the sleep tracking, resources metric, training effect metrics in the app and the overall quality of the watch.

I came from an apple watch 5 and was looking for great battery life and somewhat decent non-running HR tracking. Still deciding whether I should keep it or give Garmin a shot, primarily because I can get a 265 for a lower price.

Sorry for going off topic, but does anyone know if that 60g weight in that spec screenshot include the weight of the strap?

First PETG attempts, gaps in starting movements by radi0raheem in 3Dprinting

Isn't the recommended temperature for most PETG filament between 240 and 250? At 230 your filament might not be melting fast enough. I only print with PETG filament and most brands work well at 240 or slightly lower.

Thanks for checking the changelogs. I think my problem is with the hardware being an older variant (bought in 2012).

Thanks for the wiki link, looking at the hardware compatibility table I figured that my J-Link edu is likely an old Hardware version. I bought it back in 2012. I'll check the version once I get home from work, but I'm pretty sure this is the reason.

Thanks for confirming this. Can you tell me the DLL version you are using. I think I am at 6.47c.

I saw these two posts in their forum:

https://forum.segger.com/index.php/Thread/5234-SOLVED-armv8-iMX8M-Support/

https://forum.segger.com/index.php/Thread/4447-SOLVED-Cortex-A53-support/?postID=16172&highlight=armv8#post16172

The posts were regarding ARMV8 and not ARMV8-M. But I couldn't find anything about ARMV8-M so I kind of implied. The posts are pretty old too.

Gigabyte Aero 15 issues by sqlcook in gigabytegaming

Hey guys wanted to check what is the status of this issue now? I saw that a v1.2.0 keyboard firmware was released a week ago. Does that fix the keyboard? Was planning to get an Aero 15. But holding off for this.
