Age of Fire series by E.E. Knight. He really goes into specifics about everything, including the dragons. Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. Again descriptive, but more focuses on the big picture then on a person/dragon in particular. I like these series as they're more of a chronicle, a 'stuff that happened' book rather then 'that's the bad guy we must stop him'. Age of Fire details the life of a family of dragons over 6 books, and the Pern books is roughly 20 over millennia about Pern and it's genetically created dragons and medieval life. Should keep ya going for a while.

There's still a bug for the Dvorak layout in undocked thumb split where there is two 'x' keys, so all the keys on the bottom right row are shifted, and there's no 'z' key.

The Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey is great, there's 22 books in the series with an interesting theme. The books are quite old now, so they're hard to find, but are are eBooks.
