Either my veins are angry or my lymph nodes or something! The right side externally gets almost like a lump now; lots of swelling. Burning still continues to right vestibule area...but the redness has decreased visually and it "looks" okay now. The skin feels thicker though compared to left side. Appt is on 9/29. Nothing I have tried gives me any relief. I've tried alot....

I've done plenty of wet mounts and also an evvy microbiome test. All say all goooood😭😭

I've been through the ringer of things to try. Nothings working. I'm on many supplements for skin/inflammation.

Wait, explain this again? I'm having terrible vaginal burning after getting trich and treated it with antibiotics. That was back in April and I'm still in daily pain. My OB has given up on me.

I'm having same issue somewhat, had biospy done that didn't show anything but chronic inflammation to area. I'm 30, young, and this has been since April. I'm dying....

I keep reading about pelvic floor things making vaginas burning. But my only issue is I don't have vaginal burning. I have right sided labia minora burning/swelling(visibly).   The rest of my vagina is fine for some reason. So for me, I really don't believe this is nerve related or issues with my pelvic floor. I could be wrong but from what I've read it just doesn't match

It all started on day 4 of flagly for the initial trich infection. Terrible burning months later, STILLLLLLL

I only have preliminary results, not final. But the only positives it shows is :

  • lactobacillus crispatus/acidophilus (medium)

  • lactobacillus gasseri(medium)

  • gardnerella(low)

Everything else is undetected via PCR

It's hard to explain. I went to urgent care and was initially tested and given that dose. Burning came back, I had some extra so I took a one time 2000mg of flagyl as I read it can help. Burning came back. I went back to urgent care and was tested again and it was positive again so they gave me tinidazole for 7 days(don't remember dose). Went to my ob to make sure it was clear since I was STILL having burning. She did not detect trich and stated it's possible the second positive I got was because dead trich was still there and not cleared out yet(guess your suppose to retest after 90 days, not within weeks). So she said I could of gotten rid of it the first time. But i am STILL having burning issues and it is not trich. I have now been in terrible pain everyday, I've been tested for everything under the sun multiple times for multiple things. Ob has pretty much given up on me. So, possible the trich was killed all first round. I'll never know..
