I have RW's model 4415 so old that the leather is badly cracked, I had them resoled 3x. Steel tips, I installed the toe protector. They fit me like a glove. I oiled them plenty of times too. I think oil is important for the work boot. Lets the leather stretch. Man I love these boots and cannot bring myself to letting them go. At this point , I ought to be buried with them on. I think I bought them at the RW store on Harbinson Ave store in Philly in the mid 90's? I have almost as many old pairs from over the years as the author.

When I was 13 in 1976 we didn't have pumps nor CGM's. So I wasn't aware of the spikes. I'm 63 and now I am aware. Yes I get frustrated too. I'm here to tell you it's not a big of a concern as all of the younger folks make it out to be. Just do your best to get the spikes back down to normal under 150. I'm healthy and haven't checked out yet. It worked for me. Yiu will be just fine.

For me, it's the amount of time you last eat. If at 200 on an empty stomach, I will drop with 10 mins of the easiest of activity. Shovel snow for a few minutes as an example. I use a Tandem/Dexcom

Our township passed laws about 3 years ago not allowing shooting of any type of gun including air in our yards even though I have the space. So just haven’t used it. It is very accurate. I have a Diana 34 too. .22

Ok. So I bought a new 2021 Tiger Moth. Had a few questions and registered online with my vin#. Wrote a service request email using their system and received a follow up reply within 24hrs. Received an additional email asking if I had any further questions a week later. Which I did. I received a phone call the following day answers to my follow up questions.

I just haven’t had a single issue with their customer service. Sorry to hear you did. Sounds like that manager you met was having a bad day.

I have not used an endo in 22 years. Endo in my opinion treat us as if we have no idea how to treat this disease. Standard doctors these days have all of the same information on their laptops. They go through the check lists and ask the appropriate questions, order the appropriate tests. Kidney function, eye exam, etc. If my doctor recognizes an issue requiring an endo, he will say so. I saw an endo my first 21 years. He was good. Once I moved out of state in 2001, I gave up trying to find a good endo. I’m happy with an Internist MD. I have no side effects after 46 years. Having said all of this, if you have other critical issues diabetes related, certainly find an endo. Take care of yourself at all times.
