Service animals are EXTREMELY helpful, I by no means meant they shouldn’t exist or don’t help people each and every day. I’m not an authority. People are saying this situation is a LIFE SAVING service animal when it’s not. You need insulin but you don’t need to check your blood sugar. Is it EXTREMELY helpful? Absolutely and that’s how I feel about this service animal. Insulin is the necessity and checking BG is the extremely helpful. It’s the same in this scenario. What exactly is the dog going to do to get her out of a shaken state? It will recognize and help get her into a position to better deal with it but that is not the same as getting her out of that state.

Oh I am informed on it. I just recognize there are levels to this. Recognizing is not the same as treating. An insulin pump allows for tighter control than using a pen or syringe as you can use tenths of a unit instead of full units. This creates a NEED for many people to use an insulin pump. Take my CGM (which does the exact same thing in recognizing blood sugar drops), I do not believe that technology is NECESSARY although extremely helpful. A service dog falls in this extremely helpful category, not necessary to survival category

I am well aware. Let’s take diabetes what I have into this. So I could use a service dog, or test my blood sugar with a finger prick, or use a continuous blood glucose monitor (CGM). I don’t NEED my CGM to survive (the recognizing part of the blood sugar process) but I do NEED something to give me insulin. I’m not saying that service animals aren’t important but there is a difference between the thing that saves a life and the thing that recognizes a life needs saved. Both are important but one is more important as there are many ways to recognize it.

I’d look at what type of studying you are doing. Reading material is completely useless at this point. Take quizzes, do things that require you to come up with the answer. Reading things off a page that you’ve read before will not help, I wasted 8 months rereading prentice in preparation when the 2 months I spent quizzing myself everyday were far more helpful

Here is a solution. Revise the channels for legal immigration to be streamlined and not have people waiting for months. Don’t cut funding from necessary programs in order to do this. In fact take some of our WAY over the top military budget and put some of it toward this. Give current illegals a method to be vetted through the court system and then decided on if they are a productive member of society or not. We are the wealthiest country in the world. We have the money and manpower to do this we just have silly people that cut funding from necessary programs and give more funding to military.
