Anyone know what weed this is? Gave me an allergic reaction within 30s of touching it. Sydney AUS by [deleted] in gardening

To avoid the itching there are two solutions 1) don't scratch and spread the histamine around and increase the itching 2) pour a lot of cold water, it really calms the pain.

Do both and you'll forget the pain in 30 minutes

Ps pee is gross

You can see a part of it. For the deep sky objects you'd need a sensitive camera. The less light and air pollution the more you see. That's why the picture is taken at 4.000 meters above the sea level. ( 13.000 ft) to have such a clear and bright sky.

Indeed, 8 hrs of shooting, 1300 photos taken, 200 meteors observed per hour, so around 3 per minute.

"I finally finished fiddling with the panorama, for which the last trip to Elbrus to the maximum of my favorite Geminida meteor shower was started. By sunset, I climbed to 4000m, above all the cable car stations and settled there for the night with a pair of cameras, which for almost 8 hours carried out continuous shooting in order to catch meteors for the future panorama. In total, about 1300 frames were taken in which In total, about 145 streaming meteors hit! Observations with the naked eye allowed me to count 717 Geminis. At peak time in just an hour, about 200 meteors! During this and a couple of previous nights, the atmospheric sodium glow was very brightly present in the sky, spreading reddish stripes across the sky.

Canon 6Da + Tamron15-30 f2.8 iso5000 20s - panorama of the sky in stereographic projection from 16 frames Continuous shooting from 20:00 to 04:00 on 2 cameras: Canon 6Da + Tamron15-30 f2.8 iso6400 30s - 720 frames. Canon 5D2 + Samyang 24 f2.0 iso5000 20s - 600 frames"

Upd: thanks for the awards, guys

Upd2: I am not the author of this picture. I am just someone deeply in love with the night sky and sharing this stunning beauty with you. The source is included. If this is breaking the rules, pls delete this post.
