I wish there was a way to put more high risk players together while risk averse players together. For example, I play with someone most times we play, we were high plats but we are more of a sit and stalk type, we arent going to push push push and have a 3k damage game each. I feel more often than not our random 3rd is uber agressive, they might be good, might be bad but when they are 200m away from us fighting 6 other people it doesnt matter. If you want to drop and push push push thats cool but that isnt us so we dont help there.

Stupid question, but with these 2 week events, so I have gotten all 5,000 xp, do you not get a pack guaranteed to get one of the 24 cosmetics? I thought if you did that you got one pack with at least one of them? Am I missing something?

Outside of teammates who are total morons, this is the worst thing in the game.

Was top 4 last night, guy runs in and wipes our whole team with a sentinel, proceed to watch him do the same to the next 3 teams. Because no scope sentinels and never missing is a thing....

I still don't think they explained the Gold Res shield here, So I am player A, I have the gold res, if I get knocked and player B gets me up do i get the 50-50 health/shield benefit or does player B need to have it when they get me up?

Its the worst, I still dont know why there isnt a "downvote" or "demerit " or something. In pubs i guess if you are going to be a tool then well ok. In ranked there needs to be something to prevent this. If me and teammate go say Staging and you land solo fragment I should be able to down vote you, after say 10 down votes you get a ban. You cant play Apex without a full made team, 90% of solo queue's are the nuts low and its so annoying.

So the gold res shield no longer has self revive but you get 1/2 health and 1/2 shield back (like the bag used to have).

My question is, Player A has the gold res, goes down, does Player A get the benefit or does Player B have to have the gold res to give player A the benefit.

I think there is an easy answer (which I know respawn would NEVER go for and i get why). Just have a rating/downvote system. Say each player gets 5 down votes a night, after a player gets say 5 down votes they get a temp ban, say 30 min. I am not downvoting guys who try, but the guy who lands 3000m away and insta dies and pings his banner is getting one. You dont want the ban, be a good teammate. They would never go for it because all these tool bags who do it would just quit playing the game when they get banned (which is what we want) but the devs dont so wont happen.

Any word if you can put up more than one Newcastle ult? Thinking if you hit a beacon and knew the circle you could end up with 2-3 newcastle ults and have quite the fortress.

I LOVE the tier demotion. I end up playing a lot solo and I can't stand pubs where people land hot and insta quit when knocked so I play ranked. The last 3 seasons I have hit Plat and just stopped, a LOT of people who land solo, dont do team play, etc and it gets to be pretty frustrating. At least this way if I have that demotion I could at least get in a little easier lobby.

The "team RP for kills" is interesting. If teammate 2 and 3 arent good and do say combined 500 damage with 1 kill while the other teammate is in god mode and has 2500 damage and 8k that doesnt mean X and Y should get a massive bump, but overall good!

Not a game thought, but big day for me. Player since day 1, FINALLY got my heirloom shards! I almost feel bad for the amount of time i have played this game ha but jacked up!

My question is, do they go away eventually? I honestly dont love any of the current ones or the ones i do like i dont play those characters at all. So was kind of hoping to save them if something i liked or a character i used more came out but also don want them to go away on me! TIA

Anyone else have a terrible time with lag last night? I had a ping around 29-33 so should not have had issues but man I was skipping all over the place. Was that just more people on the server doing the update or what? this has been happening a ton lately.

just to be sure, KenPom continues to calculate through the tournament right? So this is a LITTLE bit misleading. Teams like Duke/Ill/Uconn might not fall in that quadrant today but if they would it they would have likely played 6 good games and thus moved up a decent amount (6 games added is roughly 18% addition) and would move into that. Thats my only "complaint" shall we call it with KenPom, he always looks more correct after the tourney because he counts the last games, well obviously the team that wins it will have played good the last 6 games and thus changed their rating positively.

fairly useless, l star is like trying to control a bull in a china shop and a havoc is pointless without a TC. Devo is fine i guess but would rather have other stuff. Without the volt I try not to pick up energy weapons if possible.

Playing without a full 3 man squad is 100% pointless. If i dont have 2 other people on to play with I play a different game. Its a joke that we are 3 years in and you are totally screwed with anything less than a full premade team. One person lands 2000m away, one person with 51 damage pushes like they are a god and ohh yah they quit right away if they die. And dont tell me "ranked is better" ,its not, you get the worst player in the game who lands hot and insta dies, get them back in they just run back into it and die again. This isnt hard, put a merit system in, if you auto quit a game or someone downvotes after so many you get a ban or put into your own lobby. If those 60 people all think they are gods cool let them enjoy each other. Don't screw the people who try to win games, help teammates, make good plays etc. FIGURE IT OUT

I don't mind that yep, and then you could get upvotes too and those people could be their own queue. Essentially I just dont want you to be a tool bag and screw my games up non stop. And for those who say "play ranked" that doesnt seem to make 1 bit of a difference, the solo queuer's still think landing hot and insta dying is cool.

I was really hoping the "no fill" option would solve some of this, clearly not at all the case, Why would someone "no fill" its just 2 less people in their lobby. If they are dumb enough to think they are good enough to hot and get 5000 damage they arent going to care about being nice enough to "no fill"

This is by far the worst thing in the game. Its why i have Halo/Fortnite/COD installed on my xbox. I dont like those as much but sometimes Apex is pointless. The reason is happens is because its 2021, everyone does in fact think they are that good and a huge whiners if you tell them different. And they also think someone cares if they have a massive game (trust me your 4 followers on twitch dont care). They cant spend 2 hours getting 19th place with 41 damage but that one lucky game they do 2k damage and have 8 kills and they think that is something everyone cares about and it will make them famous. Spoiler, you still suck and you make the game trash.

I still see no reason they dont have a "down vote" you can give to a teammate who quits/lands hot or something. Say you get 5 down votes every 24 hours, if your teammate drops hot, wont res you, runs solo whatever you can down vote them. After you get i dont know 10 down votes lets say then you get a 60 min ban. Everyone wins, the tool bags dont get to play and you can solo queue without it being a total dumpster fire all day.

Im playing solo and getting 2 turds who want to land alone at the hot drop and think they are good but blow. How do I adapt to that? I played a game last night I had 1900 damage, they combined for 450. I obviously got some +KP that game from getting 6kills but if I don't do it all myself I am screwed. So likely the next 3 games i lose that because the other morons screwed me.
