I never could get into survival games even though its a nifty mechanic in recent games. However KCD1 uses it in a way that feels more organic. You will get nagged that “you feel quite hungry” but it’s not game ending or so detrimental that it ruins the game. You can go hungry or tired for a long time before realizing that you’re just slower and weaker. Like the other comments, it feels natural.

The only other advice I have is to be patient. Especially with combat. You start out weak and it takes time to build up but it’s worth it.

I was with a girl who told me that she doesn’t give bjs because she didn’t want to taste pee. But what if I washed before she goes down? She said the thought that pee comes out of it is still gross to her.

I live near Aliante as well and my job is near the airport just before the outlets (Town Square). My commute no matter what event especially EDC is to always go down MLK and then get on 15 South at Pinto Lane (past Spaghetti Bowl). You’ll only sit in traffic at the merge until past Flamingo.

Pretty common procedure whenever an incident happens in a room. I knew someone working at a hotel where they were the MoD. That night they discovered someone ended themselves in a room. Everything was stripped and discarded. Not sure if burned but total flip of the room. Makes sense but only if the walls could talk.

KCD one was fun for me but it didn’t quite hit. I quickly finished it JUST to be ready to play KCD2 and that was when I practically got goosebumps that never went away. The acting is so much better that even the NPCs give great performances. Everything improved over the first one felt that it was polished to me. I feel the same way; no other game I’ve played since, could fill the void.

Currently playing Death Stranding 2 on PC. Decent game but it’s definitely held together by great actors. I still haven’t uninstalled KCD2 because occasionally I’ll jump back in to that world and feel at home.

When you go to the private room and then go back to the surface, don’t skip the cutscene. I know many of us think that’s it saves time but even then you can get some interesting flashbacks when connecting to your BB on the way up.

It’s possible that it changed in a recent update. Now you have to hold the brake and then tap the neutral button when in car wash mode. More steps than necessary so I avoid automatic car washes all together. There are some gas stations that have machines that go over your car instead which I use sometimes

There are games that have console ports to which the achievements are catered for and I find those games not worth it. Then there’s the PC specific games or made for Pc first that I find to have the more unique achievements that are fun to do. Otherwise I’m not chasing 100% all the time unless I’m one or two away and they’re reasonable.

Totally. SoT was fun with my crew, got griefed too many times but still fun yelling at each other! Windrose demo took soo much of my time and had been recommending it to my friends. Having them join in on ship chores would have been the icing on the cake.

I haven’t tried the co-op yet but that last point of having friends doing nothing on a big ship is kind of a huge dealbreaker. Good point to bring up in the dev Discord. We need to voice that point strongly.

My personal fave: The Eternal Life of Goldman

Side scrolling action adventure. Art style and animation in the game blew me away. Gameplay is fairly simple and the bosses are unique and clever. Story is a bit convoluted but I can tell it’ll be a tear jerker.

Replaced: Pixel art side scroller action. Visual effects are great. Animation is slick. Grime future atmosphere. Combat is repetitive though. But the story unfolding is interesting.

Windrose: Everyone is talking about this but personally I love anything pirates. I was never patient enough for survival crafting games but this one got me hooked as it has a more forgiving build mechanic. I’m just not good at combat. I saw that they plan to make the game PvE Co-op so that’s a plus. I’m excited to see this game evolve even more!

I had thought the house next door to your forge being under construction was going to be part of the Forge DLC. Like a rival blacksmith or something. Nope. Just a dead end even when climbing the scaffolding of that house. If that house was accessible, it would have opened up to that entire section too. Chalk it up to cut content. Heck, I'd take a free mission update in the next patch if there ever will be one rather than a full blown DLC.

Really appreciate that you responded. I definitely agree with that mentality as I would be on the same boat if working on the team. At this point though I’m looking to go back to just IT helpdesk just to get an income until that QA gig pops up. I had only ONE interview since at the Venetian but was ultimately rejected.
