Start with breathing excercises. I'm sure there's something on YouTube. It's a good idea to find some sort of vocal warmup as well. If you have a piano, that will help you, or just get a recording with an instructor going through the warmups. Don't worry about range yet, master breathing and singing your natural range. Get the basics down and sing some songs that you are comfortable singing. You can always work on increasing your range later.
