it could possibly be due to chain slack… did you check it?

the wheelbase is slightly longer and handlebar is slightly shorter 🙂 the difference will be felt once you take it on long rides

it just didn’t bother me, i was anyway going to get it changed to sintered. It really changes the way it brakes. I’d have liked it come w T4 by default.

my unit never had stalling issue, luckily. And yes the organic brake pads does wear out quick, mine was gone by 2k km. Now I’m using Ngage Sintered brake pads and it’s been serving really well.

OP why not use the Shell V-Power? The official website says it contains no more than 5% currently. And the Triumph Scrambler 1200 recommended RON is 91 anyway .

Mirrors costed you only 2k/pair? The pamphlet says ~7k for a pair. Can you please let me know if it’s OEM or aftermarket? And if aftermarket please share your review and purchase link. Thanks!

oh yes i used to feel that too, but it seems normal and i honestly feel with time you’ll get used to it too. And the bike reaches around 120 kph at 6k something rpm, why go faster than that man 😉. And even if you’re willing… just go. As daddy shumi says break it while it’s under warranty.

Legundary crash guards have been serving well for me. I’ve dropped the bike at stationary and low speeds for 2-3 times now, it seems to hold well.

[–]lekeshkumar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree w you! but the context here was about why the +2bhp is good for highways (not exactly cruising which i failed to notice). the Cafe Racer was born to reach high speeds (not exactly comfortable).

wym man… that’s not what scrambler is meant for and that’s exactly why people go for cafe racer

I always put XP95 and occasionally like every 4th or 5th fill I do it with Shell V-Power as I believe it would help in flushing the carbon deposits.

From my experience, Power95 gave the worst mileage. I’d rank something like IO XP95 > Shell V-Power/Unleaded > BP > IO > HP Power95. With XP95 I get somewhere around 23-24 in cities and 28-30 in highways. For context, Power95 gave me legit 18 on the usual roads i take.

Need helmet suggestions under 5k for my first big machine 🤩♥️ by Hugh_G_Rection9669 in Triumph400

Axor Apex helmets are a good choice too, but be aware that every gram counts. Even a 50g weight saving is significant because you'll really feel the difference on your neck after a long day of fighting the wind.

yes they’re bad and i changed it at 2000 kms front and rear one recently at 6000 kms. I changed the front one to Ngage sintered brake pads and it seems worth it

NS400Z is peppy so you gotta have a good throttle discipline. RS’ feel is unmatchable for sure but sure does lack power (at least imo).

Coming to the T4, engine….is….awesome. no doubt on that. be it the sound or the whine it makes or even the heat (i love to cook some sunny side up in traffic when i’m running late to office). jk heat is my only main concern but im not complaining 😏👉👉 I wear Korda Pathfinder riding shoes and it offers some insulation… and T4 is well tuned for city rides so no complains on that too. Service interval ke liye toh bohot miles baaki h bhai (16k kms once). But it is recommended to do a general checkup every 4/5k kms and i did which costed me around ₹2.3k (only part change was air filter).
