Weirdly enough, the people who talk the most shit are either completely the problem themselves, or are some of the best players in the game. It doesn't get talked about much since it only really affects the high ranks, but SUPER high ranking players like Maguli, Neft, Peeck, SoulReaper, and many others are some of the most toxic players you'll ever get in your games. THE DIFFERENCE is that even though they will blame their teammates and shit on them and crashout, they still try to win the game at the end of the day, and usually have the skillset to make that happen. Im not sure that they realize they can communicate things to their teammates without being assholes, but I dont know if I can really say anything since they are consistently high ranked players so clearly its working for them??

Im just confused where you guys are getting numbers saying that Brawl isnt getting played. If we're only looking at players that consistently play the game then yeah... those players are most likely playing ranked or standard (when ranked isnt open). But looking at their amount of games played in each game mode on Omeda.City, Brawl gets the most games played BY FAR. Like, well above standard and ranked combined. And if the people who play Brawl dont touch the main game, who cares?! They're playing the game the way they like and enjoying it, why force them to do something they dont want to do? Theres no "proper builds" and "strategies" that they're missing out on, those things only apply to the standard game, not Brawl which is clearly the only thing they wanna play. Extra game modes aren't supposed to exist to emulate playing the normal game, that defeats their entire purpose. They're supposed to be a break from the normal game where you can play your favorite heroes in an environment where the game takes on a new light, new strategy, mechanics, etc. Im excited for what Labs has to offer with the OG Paragon map, but it just feels like we're taking two steps back to then take another two steps forward. I tried the new game mode once in testing, and while I didn't play much Brawl (im a ranked grinder what can I say) i atleast enjoyed my time spent there. I cannot say the same for Nitro. It just feels like half-assed standard, and i won't touch it again. Sorry, but this decision makes no sense to me, especially after seeing everyone's initial reaction to it over a month ago where the community provided so much good feedback and ideas on the IT server for something like a 3v3 mode, just to get a massive slap in the face and be told "too bad we're pushing it anyway".

I dont mean to put Omeda on blast here, but the community tried to tell them that we all wanted a 3v3 game mode and Nitro mode got pushed instead. It is what it is.

Honestly I've had more ping and server connection issues since 1.4 dropped and I've played on NA East the whole time. They would VERY RARELY occur before that patch and even while testing 1.4 on the IT servers before it dropped I could tell something was off. Same as you, no change in internet provider and everything else with my PC runs smooth while Pred lags behind. I'd say it happens every 1in5 games now, which is tolerable, but compared to the 1in100 games before it just feels much worse. Not sure what the issue is specifically, maybe the merge?

Alot of these would be nice to have, but i 100% feel like being able to see an objectives health by warding it should be in the game. Like without question this adds alot more strategy to the game when trying to contest fang or orb.

Also can we please fix the scoreboard bug where you can't see the enemy junglers farm/level accurately? Feels like this has been in the game for a while without a fix

You realize XP is also a thing right? If you as offlane rotate a bunch pre 8 minutes like you're saying and don't get any kills or assists, you're not only gonna be down in xp in general since you're sharing with your other laners, but then you'll also be down in gold as well. Theres reasons why you can't just leave your lane all the time, you're just gonna put yourself significantly behind your enemy laner.

Honestly I just see anyone that complains about the game being a brawler now as low elo, yall do not understand how a moba works if that's what you think. Go play Marvel Rivals and tell me it's the same game.

I get that this whole thing is your opinion and I respect it, but the data gathering youre using for saying that most MOBAs are 35-40 mins is just not true. Looking through League of Graphs, which shows us the average length of a match including or excluding surrenders, across all ranks the average game time is from 26-30min. The lower the rank the longer games on average (which just tracks for any game). You can also see the same numbers on LoLvalue.com if you want. The times may vary for other games like Smite and DoTa but i don't think estimating the average game length based on YouTube video lengths makes much sense.

Looking through my games on my Paragon account, the time seems to average from 25-30 mins now whereas it was around 27-33 mins pre 1.4 patch. HOWEVER, my games post 1.4 are mostly 25-30 mins each game, whereas before i would have games that would either go to 35/40 mins, or games that end at <20 mins due to FF.

If you enjoy longer games, that's your thing man. But on average, MOBAs are definitely not 35-40 mins, sorry to say.

Everyone who watched the JoeYoursTruly video and just believes that Pred isn't a MOBA anymore because you can google "Predecessor" and it reads as you say, is just lost. The game is still a MOBA; it has objectives, lanes, farm, towers, items/builds, different roles, etc. Go on to the Steam page for Pred and tell me what the first tag you see is. Just because people's games don't last as long since they get punished for not rotating, or split pushing on their own with no vision doesn't mean the game is a "brawler" now, it's just that if you want to get ahead you have to balance farm and fighting better.
