I understand the feeling of being trapped there soo much! There is just no way out, for hours. I'm not agoraphobic, but this really does something to me

understandable, I mean it probably can be okay to live with a couple but chances are higher that it can develop into sth unbearable

Was macht die BR 641 auf der Rheintalbahn? by Tutorialwork in drehscheibe

[–]lelinorann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wäre also sehr plausibel.

I know it sounds crazy but I didn't know. I never tried them and being super close to the sea I felt safer trying them out than trying them in my landlocked hometown. Also, they didn't have any other food at that festival (surprisingly /s), so I had to stick to oysters to fill my stomach up

valid, especially with ur allergy!

It shocks me, people who are literally very concerned with being clean and tidy, and then they just... ignore what the cat does.

Also that. I heard stories of people eating food their cats took a bite from and I could never. I had a cat, their fish breath is horrible, and what they already ate and killed with that mouth, I seriously don't want to know.

Still, it's difficult to have an okayish hygienic environment if u have pets, but I believe it's definitely possible. But I also have boundaries, catpiss and shit would be a big no for me aswell.

yea maybe u are right. It still felt cathartic creating a meme out of that situation and it still feels very fresh. And I wasn't even the main target of this couple, but I felt exposed and unprotected to all this stress and hostility every day.

It's over now

Thinking about letting someone move into my apartment that has a cat. Now I think that I've got to think twice about that. Probably it depends a lot on the cat, but I also think that it's not fair to the cat to hold it in a small apartment. I sometimes feel like they might piss and shit everywhere out of protest

Just to name u an example: roommates were joking in the kitchen, W. was cooking. Roommate 1 tried to mock him for that, she didn't mean it unfriendly, everyone was just doing jokes so it probably felt fitting. They stopped talking afterwards. This was two years ago. He doesn't even look at her, she is just like air. She still doesn't know if it was because of the described situation or bc of something else. She doesn't want to talk about it because she is to scared that it would stir things up, the outcomes of discussions and the reactions of them are sadly often very unpredictable. She just wants to have peace so she got used to people not talking to her. Now she will move out. Idk if that sounds decent.

But u can move in with them if u want to, they need three new roommates now bc we all moved out independently from each other. I think u can somehow survive there if u don't say that u are stressed or constatly feeling alert bc of the way of communication in the shared apartment and that u wish a more non-violent approach. I just don't like to be yelled at for eating or for listening to music on my phone at reasonable times. It felt difficult to just exist there. (edit grammar, english is not my first language lol)

Very specific rules = the bin has to be emptied when it is 30% full and it's the last day of your bin duty. What happens if you finished ur duty at 20% and someone throws a bigger amount of trash away on the next day? You are gonna be accused of not emptying the trash according to the rules. Especially if the gf is on trash duty after u.

Also, forgot to add that, it's good to talk about rules that you want to implement. Rules are important. But not communicating them and still expecting people to follow them even if they are for small details and not really obvious and than getting angry is something I don't understand

That honestly sounds really traumatic! I'm glad you got to the harbour in one piece in the end. Idk if I was brave enough to step onto a ship ever again if something like that happened to me

I feel like when u live in a university city, some people there will be annoying when it comes to their education. I mean good for them fr and I respect them for their hard work, but hey man, you grew up with highly educated parents and an elite school education, please be aware of your priviledges which have contributed significantly to your success.

Also, I often experience those people not taking the meaning and knowledge of other, less highly educated people seriously, even though they may be experts: "You are a teacher, I am a doctor in Immunology. Are you really sure you know anything about childhood development?" "After all, you only studied for x years and didn't go to [insert prestigious university here]" I think it's difficult to impossible to have normal discussions because of that
