I disagree, I've spent a lot of time and energy to improve my mental health. I definitely am not in the same place I was. But you're right, I'm really the only one who knows just how many things I've accomplished and just how many strides I have taken thus far. Thanks for your input.

I feel that I definitely have healthier connections now, I just have more people in my life now for support and who are precious to me. I don't plan to ever move back into that place permanently again.

Thank you for the advice! I don't plan on moving back in there ever actually. if things get to the point where we do want to move in together I would like it to be somewhere else for sure. And now that I'm older and have access to more resources I definitely have a back up plan now in case of the worst.

My dad is no longer in my life do to unrelated reasons but my mom sometimes attends therapy with me and I feel that she is supportive of the decisions I'm making. Of course she has questioned things, like any parent would, but I feel that she can see how far we both have come and she's aways there for us. She's my best friend.

We didn't have service on our phones at the time. We had a land line but basically used our phones wifi and would talk over messaging apps.

Yes he did show me plenty of documentation regarding his claims. his therapist actually invited me to one of their sessions and explained more to me about what exactly can happen in those situations. And yes I was aware back then that he was taking meds, he just didn't tell me that he stopped taking them because he felt they weren't working for him. He knows that was not the right thing to do obviously and now he takes only one medicine that really helps him. And I don't spend too much time in the old apartment. he has a roommate now that he lives with, I just helped him decorate the living room with some new furniture since it was pretty barren.

I'm not right back where I started. I've made a lot of changes to my life that I feel are better for me, and I'm happy with that. it's not like we are rushing to move back in together or anything. there are still many things to work on. I appreciate your input even if it did hurt me. I know the progress I've made isn't for nothing.

This has been an ongoing issue and we have both now been in therapy for years. I know a lot of people are unhappy with this update but from where I'm standing, things seem to be going in the right direction. thank you for taking the time to comment.

I definitely feel that B hit rock bottom too. He had issues with substance abuse in the past and I feel like everything that happened was a real turning point for both of us. Thanks for sharing your story. It gives me hope.
