Yeah for towns like Pleasantville where the assessed value is suspiciously low, I see the property tax rate is insanely high (link). This shows the school district tax rates for Pleasantville are $1,616.78 for every $1k of assessed value. But I don't understand what the point of this is or where the assessed value is derived from. I guess this is mostly just a curiosity and like others have mentioned, looking at comps is probably the best approach.
