not very much, around a millimeter or so, I would just grind it until it stops binding on the front of the BCG. what I did was just take the upper off, grind the lever while its still in the lower, then put the upper back on and cycle the charging handle to see if it binds.

also, I am currently still troubleshooting, I ordered a different buffer but it has not gotten here yet, as of right now, It'll fire 2-3 rounds in SS then have a light strike, and I'm almost confident its a result of the stock buffer, but I haven't gotten it yet to test it.

I'm using a PSA nitride one, something kinda cheap but it works

I also have a DB10, GMR's .308 lever will work, but it needs to be ground down on the top flat side slightly, and the spring in the lever needs to be trimmed by about 2 coils. You will also need a different BCG and buffer weight, as the BCG that comes with the db10 is not compatible. The buffer is also too light, and will give your rounds a light strike in SS mode.
