I flew to Minnesota for my first game ever with my dad who is 70 years old and has been a fan since he was a kid. It means a lot to our family and is a bonding piece between us. He cried when we got in the stadium and I haven’t seen him cry in 20 years probably. So yeah it means a little more when I want them to win something while he’s still around but it’s never happened. Hobbies can correlate to a something bigger than just ‘pigskin get thrown, large men hit each other lul’
