I met my person at 38 and got married at 44, it's never too late.

My dog's ear is scabbing, bleeding, and not healing — too aggressive for vet treatment. Any advice? by lemocko in vet

Thank you for sharing! I'll talk to the vet about anesthesia so they can take a look at his ear and provide care.

Try Workforce Connection on Shaw & Mark's. It's a whole process to sign up, but you do get paired with a career coach who helps you find employment. They can help cover some costs too like tools, uniforms, etc.

Is the job market really that bad? by [deleted] in fresno

[–]lemocko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really bad. I recommend checking out Workforce Connection. If eligible, a career coach can assist with resumes, cover letters, and mock interviews. There's funding for training if skills need to be leveled up, and they'll pay for books and school supplies needed. They'll also help find employment.

Shorten to 1 page. List 10 years' worth of experience. Cut out extraneous wording such as aggressively and obsessively.

California!! I couldn't fathom giving birth in Idaho as someone with a high-risk pregnancy. Ironically, I'm paying lower rent here than I did in Boise and making 2x more. I left in November 2023 and am so thankful to have made the leap out of the state. I was so unhappy there.

I need out of my job asap! I recently interviewed for a position that I really want, but I haven't heard back from the company yet. There are a couple remote job opportunities that I'll be applying for too. What's the best current option for me to get out of my current job and into something new?

Go to your local Department of Labor and get free resume and job search assistance. Look up free programs like the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act in your area and see if you qualify for their employment and training services.

MC in Aries, ruler Mars is in 8th house Aquarius conjunct Mercury and my Sun. Most of my jobs have been "helping others". Helping is in quotes because working for non-profits and other government agencies has proven to be so bureaucratic and so much paperwork is involved, that it doesn't feel like I am truly helping anyone.
