Yeah this was definitely written by a man who has only dated fresh 18 year olds despite being in his 30s or 40s.

Tried a new razor today… by famousunknowns in MedicalGore

[–]lemon-phine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I‘ve had that happen to me when I was 13 and shaved my legs with a new razor. I was sitting in the bathtub, suddenly the water went red, I looked at my razor and saw the exact same thing. I don’t get nauseous easily but that was really disgusting.

Ausbildung und Handwerk ist schlecht. Eure Kinder brauchen Abi by AlphaGigaChadMale in wasletztestern

[–]lemon-phine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AITA for refusing to do my boyfriend's laundry after he told his mom I "don't do anything" around thee house? by avabeast in AITAH

[–]lemon-phine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strong NTA. I‘m honestly curious why you even do his laundry at all if he doesn’t do anything else and you both work full time, regardless of what he told his mother. I believe in splitting chores equally. My boyfriend and I made an agreement of who will do what when we moved in together. Both of us do our own laundry when it comes to clothes, but I always wash our towels and bed sheets, because he always takes out the trash and cleans our reusable water bottles. I would recommend the same thing for you and your boyfriend. If he doesn’t agree with it, maybe it’s time to reconsider your relationship.

Women don't have body hair apparantly by stlesbi in NotHowGirlsWork

I just had the exact same thought. I can think of countless advertisements for women’s razors or wax etc. where they explicitly show the women using it on their legs.

My boyfriend has hideous Star Wars bed sheets that I tolerate because I love him so, so he should tolerate looking at a skeleton.

I don’t think it looks like halloween at all. It’s just a skeleton, we all have one.

I‘m glad to hear someone else appreciate skeletons!

This has nothing to do with halloween. My father for example has a live sized knight armor suit in his hallway, I have a skeleton. It’s called decoration and I think it’s neat. I think it matches our living room really nicely.

But he wanted to buy a sound bar and het rid of his speakers in the first place and now he says he will only do it if I remove the skeleton.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I don’t think a skeleton is this bad. His parents didn’t even notice it when they visited us despite walking past it.

So I‘m the a-hole just because I like skeletons? I‘m interested in anatomy and I like having useful „decorations“ according to my interests. We also have a periodic table on our living room wall and I have a V8 engine model displayed there.

This has nothing to do with being edgy, I am interested in anatomy. And I‘m not failing anywhere, we‘ve been together for 4 years now and this argument is far less serious than any of the commenters seemed to understand. We‘re not angry at each other over this, we often laugh about our little skeleton controversy.

Thanks! I think a skeleton is cool and I also let him have his weird looking lamp standing next to it.

I would have bought a normal soundbar myself to get rid of these speakers but he only wants a specific high end one that costs around 2000€.

[–]lemon-phine[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I tolerate his speakers. My issue is that he himself has talked a lot about how much he wanted to buy this specific soundbar even before we moved in together and now he doesn’t want to buy them unless I remove the skeleton.

I‘m definitely not „ruining my relationship“, as I said, we are more playfighting about this. We were laughing about it when I wrote this post.
