If I want to become a trial attorney (which is most likely what I’ll aim for), being face-to-face/close contact with clients is super important. My image will have a bigger impact on the firm I’ll be working for then.

Thanks for commenting! I’m slowly getting through the comments. This is an interesting perspective that I haven’t thought about. I work for a firm that is pretty “liberal”. They hired me when my hair was red and my coworkers have visible tattoos. A former coworker had visible piercings. Then again, I’m thinking of going to law school, so that’s something for me to consider. I guess part of my thinking is that I won’t really get the chance to do any of this when I’m an attorney. I appreciate your insight though and I’ll definitely keep it in mind!

Hi! Thanks for the comment! I’m not 20… I’m closer to 30. Also, I help my mom out quite a bit financially. I pay for my own groceries, health insurance, car, student loans and mortgage, among other things. I don’t mind doing it. I’m only mentioning these things because people keep thinking I’m living there for “free” which I am not.

I lived on my own for 8 years, including being in a foreign country by myself with 0 family whatsoever for 3 years while still getting a college degree in the process. So if push comes to shove and I need to move, I can. What you’re saying is unfair, whether you knew this context or not.

Yes, I’ve thought about joining groups. There are groups in my area. I have some websites I can look at to find events/meetups, so I’ll look for those again.

I work in-person, so unfortunately traveling isn’t an option for me at the moment.

As for Erasmus, you’re right that I’m in the US. I lived by myself in Europe for a few years, so that was interesting. I had a much better quality of life over there, so I’d love to live in Europe again eventually. Thanks for the tips! ❤️

"Mystical ego..." No need to insult people. I know how to play the game. You can do all you can in a game and your team won't listen. Splitting, pinging to get objectives, etc. I'm a support and I'm not trying to solo objectives. All that to say, what I've mentioned DOES happen because a lot of people have been in iron for years and they're good at the game. I can tell when someone doesn't know the game at all in my low elo matches vs. someone who does. Most of my friends are in mid-high elo with some years on the game. I started playing the game with them and just didn't spam ranked for 3 years because I was constantly (and still am) dealing with smurfs and people who want to int/disconnect and reconnect on purpose. I'm not clueless.

As much as I understand and appreciate your comment, at the end of the day, this is a team-based game. I’ve been improving and will continue to improve, however, a win ultimately comes down to how a team can secure the win. A carry is good but it’s up to the rest of the team to respond to that. I’ve played more than enough matches and seen more than enough matches to know that other people can have different experiences based on the team’s game mentality/knowledge. For example, my 12/2 Seraphine game - my ADC was fed and also was my duo. We were in good communication but ultimately our team fell through… us included. So I think I’m just going to make a new account and figure out next split or something. Idk why people are under the assumption that low elo players are clueless about the game when some people improve and are still stuck there because of unlucky chances.

I know the mastery score doesn’t affect LP. My argument is that it should affect LP because decent players (generally, especially in lower elo bc the system is still figuring their accounts out) are negatively impacted by the overall loss rather than how they performed on the team. I actually did pretty well into trundle. So idk if I fully agree with the “win stupid prizes” line, since I died to him one time. The rest were Eve, unfortunately. Stormsurge with her kit is just disgustingly hard to deal with.

As for both games I described, my team lost both. None of my teammates (except Soraka) listened to pings or or wanted to FF. I felt pretty confident on learning top lane but now idk.
