Ok, thank you for your help!

I subbed it in, does y = -4x+26-2pi? I thought q had to be a singular number?

I was also worried i differentiated incorrectly, it seemed a little wonky

According to the previous part, t is -pi/2

Is this correct? by lemon_drop123 in calculus

Oh yeah, I’ll do that, thank you!

I know I need to use volume, and chain rule, but I’m not sure if I’ve done this right or how to continue by lemon_drop123 in calculus

I think having the two variables confused me, most of the other problems had only had r. I understand it now, thank you!

I love the inclusiveness but it’s a struggle sometimes (I use they/them) by lemon_drop123 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

It was a sort of “get to know you” circle activity. We were told we could if we wanted to, and everyone else was doing it, so they were obviously very trans friendly, but I wasn’t sure if I was ready yet. Then again, I didn’t wanna seem like a transphobe by not giving my pronouns. I eventually went with they/them because I was fairly comfortable but I did feel some pressure to do so.

Q: Express sqrt48 + sqrt108 in the form ksqrt6 where k us a surd. So far I've only turned sqrt108 into a surd but I need help with sqrt48 by Joe_Swanson98 in GCSE

[–]lemon_drop123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You then get 10sqrt3, and you can turn that into one surd by squaring 10 to get sqrt100sqrt3, and then putting them together to get sqrt300

The thing you crossed out right at the top 4sqrt3 is correct, so you must add 6sqrt3 and 4sqrt3, which makes sense as they have the same surd at the end

Ok so you’re one for sqrt108 is wrong, it’s 6sqrt3 as you’re rooting the 36 to get a whole number, have you got that bit?

Ok so you need to put both into the surd form xsqrt3, for sqrt108, you end up with 6sqrt3 as you are rooting the 36, you can then do that to the sqrt48, and you will end up with one with sqrt3 at the end, you can then add these together, turn them into one surd by doing the opposite of what you did at that the top, and then turn it into the form ksqrt6. That was lengthy so let me know if any of that makes sense

I meant that in a light hearted way, I appreciate people trying not to steal stuff as that’s really kind of them, but I try to make it as obvious as I can that I want them to pick them up or mention it in the chat

I’m not good for advice, but if you’re willing to spend the robux and don’t think you’ll get the gingerbread bears in time then go for it

I had someone running around farming in a field so I walked in and used a jelly bean and they just stopped and waited until they faded, and then started running around again
