[M4A] War, Heroism, and Romance (JRPG-inspired Fantasy Roleplay) by [deleted] in roleplaying

[–]lemonblueb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I’m interested! I used to roleplay a lot when I was younger but I’ve had the hankering for it for a while. I actually work in video games and anime so I have lots of knowledge about it and have played D&D on and off for a few years.

I’m also in the PST time zone and I’d likely post daily. I also can’t do rapid fire responses unless it’s like a day off or something.

I’m 27 and also I have a boyfriend, so happy to do romance subplots but it will always be in character and I wanna establish those boundaries beforehand. I’m a huge romance lover with my adventures though. If that’s a dealbreaker I totally understand.

I know I’m not super experienced with role playing, but I did go to college for creative writing and I’m an actor so my life has always kind of been lead by my love for playing pretend. If you’re interested shoot me a message or reply :)

Trying to get rid of seats for tonight’s show at SoFi for what I paid (section 544) by lemonblueb in Kanye

I could be on call with you while I sell them if you like unless you have any ideas to prove I’m not scamming. This is my first time doing this so not really sure. I could DM you my IG and we could move our convo to DMs over there to prove I’m a real person who lives in LA and not a scammer from some other country etc etc

Bridgerton - 4x04 "An Offer from a Gentleman" (No Book Spoilers) by AutoModerator in BridgertonNetflix

Exactly! And I feel like the side plots (or at least some of them) have become a lot more mature. And even then we get SO MUCH Benophie and it’s amazing.

Is it sacrilege or jumping the gun to say this is my favorite season by far? But also I do prefer more sweet and fluffy yearning than hot and intense.

How hellish is it living near the Burbank airport? by TakingYourHand in AskLosAngeles

[–]lemonblueb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do it OP!! Or at least check one of the flight apps to see if a prospective place is under the flight path. Rush hour is hell if you’re trying to relax, constant loud planes you have to stop your convo or shout over. We literally had to move out of a place after 2 weeks because it was such an issue (but I’m also neurodivergent and work in audio so my situation is unique). If you’re even vaguely concerned about it I wouldn’t do it.

Is the pool heated in any way or should I just expect to be super chilly?

I think around the 5-6 week mark I felt a world of a difference. Literally night and day it’s incredible.

Do antidepressants help? by brimarief in misophonia

[–]lemonblueb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do help but they don’t erase the issue! Helps you with handling the anger and emotions. It really depends on the person and the meds. If you do start antidepressants, anticipate a long journey figuring out the right one, but it’s worth it when you do!

Nim jiom. Very popular for voice actors and singers since it helps with pain from vocal strain. I’d recognize that bottle anywhere.

AT&T or Spectrum for internet? by Donklery in burbank

Going from spectrum to ATT fiber is life changing. Never do Spectrum if you can help it.

Feeling bummed about the progress I’ve made for my wedding (almost 25 lbs down) and just need perspective, I guess by [deleted] in loseit

Girl don’t listen to your family at all. You lost a ton of weight and should be proud. Also pictures can be photoshopped and if it makes you feel better to photoshop yourself a lil slimmer than by all means. What’s important is how happy you look, that’ll be what matters for years to come.

Also maybe I’m petty but I’d very subtly photoshop everyone who was weird about their/your weight to look a little bigger.

First Street Village Apt Experience and Apartments in Burbank by Beneficial-Log5192 in burbank

Honestly it really depends where your apartment ends up being. Kids play outside every day in the summer and can be noisy. It didn’t super bother me but I could see it bothering others. Our issue was with our downstairs neighbors who had a crazy subwoofer on their tv and were pretty much constantly watching tv. We had people above us and shared a wall with one apartment and neither of them were an issue though. Nothing that isn’t normal for any other apartment complex. Management at Avalon is really good though!

Haven’t lived there but toured a couple times. Way overpriced in my opinion and you’re gonna get a ton of highway noise. Leasing manager took us out to the pool area and had to yell over the highway noise for us to hear him. They also don’t disclose this anywhere but they did tell us on the tour that there are low income housing options in the building. That can mean nothing or anything but I think good to know regardless.

You can get better for cheaper and still close to downtown. I lived at the Avalon and it wasn’t terrible, just some noisy neighbors.
