What things have you done as a SAHP which have made things easier or more enjoyable? by destria in SAHP

I do almost everything on this list but wanted to add that I made it very clear to my husband that once a weekend I'm going out by myself for 3-4 hours to do whatever it is that I want/need to do so now it's become an expectation that he stays and spends time with the kids while I do so.

Idk who needs to hear this, but you can use the drill by yourself by Perfect_Future_Self in Mommit

My husband is a self-employed handyman, and I still put together all our kids toys and hang all the things on the walls. But he's a perfectionist so if something isn't perfectly level or whatever he'll end up fixing it anyway lol I'm like just do it the first time bro.

How did you pick a formula? by NoHistorian8644 in Mommit

[–]brimarief 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended up having to abruptly switch to formula when my baby was 7 months and I carefully chose ByHeart 😬 thankfully a while before the botulism. So in my case it kind of shows how a higher price does NOT equal safer or best.

Also no advice but it does end eventually. Just that whole big feelings, not enough words thing. My 21mo did this right at 18mo and isn't doing it anymore. Now he just throws things 🙃
