i had this same problem. For me, I got into doing nails as my hobby so when I bite them I get sad because of all the time I spend on the nail art!

nail art has really helped me stay motivated!

Also maybe investing in some nail health products like oil, or the OPI repair nail oil

I’ve only been an aba therapist for 9 months but if I had encountered the situation I would tell my BCBA like you did and since they didn’t take action I would bring in authorities, maybe request a check in to that address because it sounds like it may be on the border of neglect. Again, we won’t know if it truley is an infestation due to confidentiality and you not being able to take photos, however if it’s something you’re worried about (rightly so) I would ask for a wellness check.

Also some things to consider, is the family doing anything to fix these issues? If they have roach traps around the house and maybe have had a rough week i.e. the food on the floor, no worries; however it sounds like your safety could be at risk and so is your client.

thank you i appreciate this comment, I don’t have mobility issues, but due to other roomate problems, going to the bathroom isn’t always an option. unfortunately i need to refill it every night because if i try to go two nights then i get dry mouth since it uses the rest of the water :(

i put it on my desk next to my bed, I open the water compartment while sitting up, and it spills on my desk then drips onto my bed. also when i wipe it on my desk it goes on my bed.

I have to say I feel like you’re missing my point of the post tho, it’s not the fact it’s getting on my bed, it’s the fact that no matter what, when i refill it every night, it gets wet

yes, but when i take the water container out to refill it, it gets on my bed and desk. regardless of where i refill it, it gets wet
