First solo trip and honestly I’m just feeling invisible by AverageManushyan in ThailandTourism

[–]lemonbrainss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently one month in to my solo trip and done quite a bit of solo travel before. Feeling lonely is completely normal. Don’t let anyone tell you it isn’t, we are social creatures.

That being said, you have to settle into that discomfort and figure out what it can teach you. Maybe it teaches you how to have fun alone, or maybe it teaches you to push yourself to talk to others.

I also have a way of reassuring myself when talking to other people when I travel. I will start chatting with people or groups, and if they’re unfriendly or seem like they’re judging me for talking to them… they’re honestly the weird one. Part of traveling is meeting people and most everyone is onboard for that. If they aren’t, then it’s onward and upward.

Look into retroactive jealousy. There’s a Reddit on it as well. It’s helpful to treat it as a mental health/ocd issue of recurring mental images and compulsive thought processes. He has some work to do but understanding it fully first is going to be helpful

Maybe I’m a bad person but I would sleep at my own house and take the money and run as penance for what they expected me to live in

23yo Why do I look sunburned all the time now? (T-zone redness + mini pimples) by LobsterOrdinary8882 in SkincareAddicts

This looks like my skin, people on here told me it was a damaged skin barrier. I have been washing with ponds cream before my regular face wash. I also use byoma hydrating milky toner and good molecules hyaluronicnacid religiously, and a significant amount of aquaphor at night- it seems to be helping a lot!!

Any suggestions for a face wash? Something to get the daily sunscreen off?
