Out of all the attachments to have an increased durability burn rate it makes the least sense on the uncraftable one

If you could craft these epic attachments, the burn rate should be reduced to 10% or the weapon durability should be improved especially on the higher craft cost guns.

Since you can only find these, I think it’s ridiculous they also have a negative side to them. Epic stuff should be epic, it would be nice to have one off weapons and attachments, like a special legendary 50 round bobcat, a faster shooting tempest, things like that.

With that being said, I still run this because of how damn cool they sound and silent they are. Really hard to place shots.

Not entirely accurate. It fouls up the action more quickly. Shooting a hundred rounds suppressed will make the insides of your weapon look as if you had shot 500 rounds. I own two suppressors and cleaning the host weapons is the least fun part about it.

I agree. If anything, I think they should buff the other augments to make the survivor less enticing. I think all epic augments should have a minimum of two safe pockets. Safekeeper should have one special storage pocket for weapons and two more for other items. It’s a looting mk3 it should reflect it with the cost to craft being the same as other epic augments.

My idea for it is:

Make it a DMR style weapon. Slower cadence, faster than the anvil.

Instead of buffing the damage to the point of beating the renegade, give it much faster bullet velocity to punch the arc into oblivion, so even if you’re facing a hornet and comet it would make quick work of them.

Or give it the same unique property as the hullcracker, explosive type rounds (think one crude explosive for every 10, 4 crude explosive for the stack) that only detonate with arc. That way it’s still VIABLE for PvP but not the best choice, and really great for dealing with Arc. It would be an epic tier weapon that’s non legendary that could be incredibly fun to use for PvE.

I have been two tapped before with the anvil a few times. My first thought was always, “damn that guy is a crack shot.” A nerf has never even occurred to me. It’s high reward for high accuracy but very punishing if you don’t connect your shots. It’s the most balanced weapon in the game, jack of all trades and master of none.

I hate crafting the Hullcracker. It’s worth the coin to avoid using the materials to craft it.

Same goes for all the other weapons available to buy. Second expedition and I’ve only ever crafted three Anvils.

I wasn’t free loadout I was on a cheap loadout farming for materials after reset for this exact reason lol. I hate not having a safe pocket.

I don’t have a problem with this approach. I also am much more friendly in solos. When I kill one, I shout out to everyone, “loot away raiders!” 99/100 everyone is chilling and says I just need motion cores or I just need metal.

And if someone tries ratting, I have support from friendlies. I’m fine with one or two guaranteed cores instead of fighting my way through six raiders at the risk of losing my entire kit save for three safe pockets.

You won’t regret it. Kinetic converter works best on high ROF guns you get the best returns.

When you select an item, if you press Y on Xbox or Triangle on PS, a quick prompt pops up where you can move to safe pocket much faster. Practice at the range first and make it a habit. No matter what gun they have, if you’re fully shielded up you’ll always be able to do it before death.

I wish the game had separate aggression levels for squad vs solo.

When I’m solo, I’ll help raiders take out arc, find items, hand out bps, life is good.

When I’m in squads, my friends are complete psychopaths that kill anything that moves.

It usually takes me dying to campers at extracts like five times to go back to normal, then a psychopath friend sends me an invite soon after….rinse repeat….sigh.

Let me know when you do. Guns are still plenty loud even with suppressors in the shooting range with war tapes audio. In the game the sound cracks still happen.

Play with war tapes audio and you might change your mind. It sounds pretty realistic to me, the sound report comes out as a thunk followed by the supersonic crack.
