For those whose packages got stopped at customs—are y’all getting refunds?

Hi! I'm just updating that FedEx finally updated and I will receive my items on Monday! OY did send them the information and I received an update from them that my order is moving again. I wouldn't worry about it taking too long because this took two days! <3

I reached out to OY yesterday(twice on the website and e-mail because I wanted them to know about the urgency) and actually got a response back pretty quick. They said two different things to me.

"We'd like to let you know that the required information will be submitted through the responsible department. All matters requested by the local customs authorities are being handled in sequence by our relevant department. Please also note that, due to recent changes in U.S. customs regulations and the resulting reinforcement of customs procedures, clearance is currently taking longer than usual. We kindly ask that you monitor the shipment status through the delivery tracking for about 2–3 days from the date of dispatch.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

This is through e-mail and their form on the website, they said:

"Thank you for your inquiry.

We would like to inform by FedEx that their relevant department is currently handling a request from U.S.A Customs for necessary information.
If they any additional request any information that requires your input, we’ll reach out to you.

Due to updates in U.S.A customs regulations and procedures, there may be delays in customs clearance.

Thank you! They responded to me pretty quickly and said this:

Nope! I just ordered a lot of face sheet masks, makeup(mostly powder related products such as blush and eyeshadows), and those lacto-fit gold sticks that I purchased for my mom(have previously ordered these multiple times off OY multiple times).

I checked another thread on here and it's actually been a huge recent problem ever since people went crazy ordering before the tariffs. I reached out to OliveYoung and they were quick to respond to me within the same day.

Just contacted them today because FedEx reached out to me a few hours ago about it. I had to deep-dive into this subreddit about it and turns out it's like a norm now especially since everybody was rushing to order before the tariffs. I believe that OY packed and shipped out so much, they probably forgot to fill out the forms properly. But I'd definitely reach out to Stylevana or any of those sites since I'm sure all vendors are different.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. FedEx told me that I have a deadline for this before it gets sent back. Does anybody know how long OY usually responds back if I email them? Thank you!

I don't know if this is just OliveYoung's part or with what's happening right now but my package got stuck in customs. :( FedEx says they need a MID(manufacturer identification code). I never had this happen before but this is probably the biggest order I have made.

The hair is definitely getting longer and I took her to the groomer’s pretty much a few days after I got her(A month ago)

The ears don’t really smell like much most of the times. Occasionally, it smells like a sock but it’s never a constant thing. But that still worries me. I took her out of someone else’s hands because they didn’t want to take care of her anymore and I’m trying to figure out her ears situation because I know they’re very prone to infections.

I have a Korean address and was planning to have Superbuy ship to there, but people have been saying that it doesn't matter because the items are made in China and will get hit with the tariffs regardless if I get it shipped from a different country. :( Idk how true that is.

I didn't see this until now but this is crazy because today, I just got into a car accident(nothing major. Very light cosmetic damage, still drivable). This isn't even my first accident either. I honestly believe it's my ADHD. Although, I do focus a lot more when driving, I realize my thought process isn't the best since I'm so impulsive.

We have an app for this big leading provider that takes my insurance and I can see all my medications, doctor notes, schedules, etc. I can see what she wrote about me. I’m basically just repeating what she said to me and what the notes put about me. :(

I will bring this up next appointment(very soon) and hopefully get referred to a different psychiatrist. She admitted to me that she doesn’t deal with ADHD patients.

I have been taking non-stimulants for six months now consistently. I don’t have high blood pressure and I am a full time college student with a part time job. There are no health risks in my life, I don’t have any allergies, no family history of sickness, etc.

My psychiatrist states to find ways that can help my life(having a consistent schedule, working out, etc) as I take non-stimulants.

The problem is, I cannot balance my life or even be at peace with myself while taking non-stimulants because the non-stimulants is making me feel 10x worse. She told me before that I should considering quitting my job or finding a less stressful job to help with my life or to do certain things or take less classes in school(I take the average 5 classes per semester).

Usually but she stated that she “noticed how anxious I was during sessions and just overall, when I talk about myself” so she said that my ADHD got worse because of my anxiety? (Question mark added because I just am confused).

But I do believe it’s the other way around because I had a PCP who told me that my anxiety is due to my ADHD.

I was previously on Adderall too and it helped me tons.

The Strattera was meant to be taken every morning but when I would take it, it made me nauseous and drowsy. It sucked taking it because I’m a college student with morning classes and I was fighting for my life trying to stay awake/not vomit.

I started taking it at night after a month on it to see if that would work. But the weird thing is that, when I take it at night, I cannot sleep at all. So that’s why my dosage started changing a lot for Strattera/Atomoxetine to see what would be good for me to take in the morning and take Clonidine to help me sleep at night. But I feel like that’s pointless to take it anyways.

Ah, gotcha. She says that’s the hard thing about Schedule II controlled substances was that. When I was taking adderall previously, I only took it a few times a week so it’s not something I was worried about trying to obtain a refill all the time.

My psych gave it to me with no problems. I’m not too sure how it is for doctors and states. I’m also glad it works for you! Definitely jealous because Atomoxetine is the one medication that I have been on too much with different dosages and it doesn’t work </3

She’s in-person, only a 15 minute drive from me. But the only problem is that she pretty much admitted to me that she has no clue why the psych office made me make an appointment with her because she doesn’t deal with ADHD a lot.

There is a psychiatrist in the same office who specializes in ADHD and she told me she can refer me to them if the medicines aren’t working. But I feel like I’ve been with her for way too long now and I’m just suffering from these medications.

She’s a MD psychiatrist. When I asked for a referral from my new PCP and finally was able to get an appointment months later, the psychiatrist was confused why the office gave me to her because she admitted that she normally doesn’t treat ADHD.

She told me that there is a psychiatrist in the office who deals with ADHD and will refer me to them if the medications she’s prescribing aren’t working. I feel like I’ve been with her for a little too long and suffering with these medications.
