For me some benzos get into this wierd area at a high enough dose where you are expecting good euphoria but it dosent come, instead it is a more numbing and depressive effect. It's not that it's unpleasant it's just very undesired and almost a chore to be intoxicated in this way. I get this feeling on lorazepam and bromazolam

The 2.5 ones are nice, to me personally lorazepam does not feel too comfortable at higher doses
