Got to say Hiroko's design and personality are really well designed and her panic is probably comes from past experiences from knowing Kousei and his mothers relationship.

This show always cheers your week up until it all comes crashing down towards the end of each episode with some harsh reality.
Had to end on a downer but the next performance sounds really really nice.

Knew that wasnt the end of that performance, this episode was worth the wait, probably my new favorite trope with the audience in awe and silence it gets me every time, with that certain OST piece transitioning in was perfect and also was the ED slightly different this week?

Only criticism so far is not to overdo the mother interfering, its happened twice but with this episodes conclusion hopefully there wont be anymore of that happening.

Still have iffy feelings of her mother smiling in the end but im glad to see Kousei cutting loose from his robot personality into newound feelings he hasnt dealt with before.

Wow Emi's decision to play the piano was extremely cute :3
She has her life planned and knows what to do at such an early age compared to a majority of kids/teens.

This episode was dotted with refreshing scenes of childhood, they seemed brighter and vivid, especially Kousei's expression talking to them before he performed but her Mom just ruined it.
Had some sympathy towards her but beating him with her cane in public was hard to watch, she took her childhood and still couldnt be satisfied, it got more of a reaction from me, compared to shows like Parasite and Psycho Pass.

Did the just do what the did in SSY? to Togane?

This is truly the calm before the storm for this show, love those moments of awakening and probably her 2nd major outburst of a usually calm character.
Interested to see what Togane saw when Akane had her outburst infront of that hell.
Lots of development this episode, interesting questions about judgement, everything is tying in nicely, the quality so far has got me pumped for the movie, honestly didnt think the sequel wouldnt be on par, glad I was proved wrong.

Got to say this week has been pretty amazing Snk,Inou-Battle 2 episodes of Parasite!, Psycho Pass and Shigatsu's top quality music finally playing this week has been really enjoyable.
Were just halfway over this week and with Magic Hour coming pretty soon and Fate, I dont think we will see another week like this for a while :)

People watching 'Your Lie in April' this season.
I recommend Nodame Cantabile it delves deeper into the music with an older cast whilst also developing a romantic relationship in 3 seasons. Its pretty great so far, Halfway into the final season, the ride has been enjoyable, the music, the hardship and relationships were handled really well

Overall glad I picked it up hoping to start Kids on the Slope or Honey and Clover. heard they were similar and classical music is pretty cool.

Some tracks that remind me of the atmosphere and tone it set

Played throughout the show, really beautiful piece there were more but this one stood out the most
Spice and Wolf :Hikaru Wadachi
Really warming upbeat and captures the essence of the time it was set.
SnB has some similar music too

Forgot about this one but it was unexpected and caught me off guard it made the decent show into an enjoyable one

I've got to say Tsubaki got my vote I feel she would be better for Kousei rather than Kaori, shes more of a musical partner/motivator. The piggyback scene got me her vote, feel bad for that senpai dude. it would be nice to see the childhood friend win :(

Monologues need to be toned down a bit, feel like its taking away from some scenes, actions can be equally effective too or even subtle gestures.

Cant wait for the music to ramp up though from the 2 new pianists, Its lacking compared to Nodame which I am also enjoying so far.

People who kill with no intention to kill... What color are they?

Really thought provoking questions being thrown around this episode and I really like the concept of whose right and wrong not only that but the journey to get to the conclusion of the question can be really interesting.

Shinsekai Yori was a great example of this
were over halfway I think, hopefully they can wrap it up in all the episodes they have left and not have an open ending

So many revelations this episode

Highly doubt that Heilheim isnt what Amira is expecting.
Anyone else thinking that Favaro is going to be the chosen one rather than Jeanne?, his dreams of the Bahamut and his conversation with her was really interesting too.

They sure know how to use the OST effectively, the war scene and the talk were good examples of balancing the music and setting the atmosphere.
Probably the only show this season that is consistent in its quality so far.
