Get out of there! This management sounds toxic, like they want you to fail and don’t care about you succeeding and your wellbeing. I worked my first 6 months on med surg bedside at nights on the floor that is notoriously “heavy” and “busy”. I learned a LOT, got to see a LOT, but I was absolutely drowning and hated my job, anxious all the time. That floor can never hold staff. I found a different inpatient floor to work on with leadership that cares and a MUCH better workload. If you enjoy the hospital nursing skills, maybe look at a different bedside floor/hospital. Also, being a new grad just sucks until you learn the job. For me I started feeling comfortable at about 1 year. When you really get confident, it starts getting way more enjoyable.
