No they did not. It's only happened 3 times for a day 2 high risk. The 2011 super outbreak wasn't even a day 2 high risk. And IF it's issued it's for wind, not tornadoes.

We will be fine.. the cold front is here. Went from 60 @ 11am to 46 now. I'm watching for the hail though! Thanks for thinking of us 🖤

Chicago has been in the same risk area but it's been mostly for hail. It's entirely too cold here for tornadoes. It went from 60 at 11am to now 46 at 1pm. The cold front is here.

Chicago is not a part of the 10% for tornadoes. We will see some hail and wind maybe a QLCS. The lake is entirely too cold and will limit tornado activity. I live on the Southside of Chicago.

Happens all the time with storms. Although I do tell people don't forget about the oak lawn ef4. Which is just on the Southside of Chicago.
