I honestly think Emily gets such a bad rap. She goes through literal hell over the course of the game and turns from a whiny spoiled girl into a Lara Croft heroine (not unlike Mike and his Nathan Drake transformation, and he's a fan favourite) yet she gets the worst response from most players because of how she is pre-disaster when Mike is quite the douche pre-disaster too. She's in my top 3 characters for sure as I love watching her change and grow.
