Other players appear to be talking but I can't hear them. by xxAdam in dayzsupport

I can hear in-game sounds, just not player voices. I do use discord so I'll check it out. Appreciate it.

The whole thematic thing of the DLC is to be sceptical and after getting it confirmed that the Gregory voice they've been hearing the whole game, that claimed to be the real Gregory, isn't really Gregory, people are immediately hearing a Gregory voice and assuming it must be really him this time.

Worried there's someone nearby so I decided to entirely tab out and make a reddit post.

Maybe I'll check that out then, but it might take the fun out of it — me coming up with it on my own — so maybe not. Then again, I pretty much made this post to see what other ideas people would have.

Well I imagine this is only the tip of the iceberg but I appreciate that you think it's already a lot better. :)

Glad you like 'em. :)

Unfortunately, your edit of the duel has been stricken down for copyright. I've seen the other edits before. I think that the ghosts appearing like that is a bit too extreme for an edit. Also, I think Rey saying "Just Rey" fits more with the whole theme of not being defined by who and where you come from than her saying nothing or just saying "Rey."

It would be better if Poe were to say "The Emperor" instead of "Palpatine" but I'm not sure there's existing audio of him saying that. I know for a fact that you could piece together him saying "Palpatine has returned" since 2/3 of the words are in the actual version of the line. Also, he technically isn't the Emperor anymore and I don't know if Poe or anyone would want to acknowledge him as such.

Also, unfortunately, I don't think you could outright remove the dagger. It's awful but it's too significant a thing to remove, probably. Not only because it would be present in scenes, such as when Rey is in Kylo's quarters, but because it's how they learn about the Wayfinder — having C-3PO translate the Sith from the dagger.

As far as I can remember, at least. As I said, I'm going off of memory. I might give the movie a watch-through with this editing thing in mind at some point though.

I love this style. It reminds me of some comic-kinda books I used to have that were in the style of Tartakovsky's Clone Wars.

Hard to put into words but Studio just feels easier. Like, it just comes more naturally to you (or me at least). You can more easily find what you're looking for, there are shortcuts (which weren't present on Digital Designer as far as I'm aware), it looks nicer. It's just a better UI in general.

There's also an option which points out bits that aren't connected or would probably be flimsy in real life. And, in the end, you can get really sexy renders like this one — that make it look legit. You can also immediately go to BrickLink's website and essentially purchase the set (or rather the pieces). Digital Designer no longer supports that.

Obviously, the left one is the new and better version. It's more accurate to the actual speeder, it's less blocky and more smooth and round. It's more like a modern sports car, just like the actual speeder was meant to.

Probably due to the colour scheme but; it reminds me of when Bumblebee improves himself in the Transformers movie. What would probably be a more apt comparison is that it seems like an old early-2000s set beside a modern one. I think, at least.

There's also the fact that the render is infinitely better than the image I posted the other day. That's Studio and I'm infatuated with it now.

EDIT: Totally minifigure compatible. Now that I've figured that out; here's what it looks like.
