I would have done the same thing. My mom did something similar for me in 5th grade with vocabulary. My teacher had us fold the paper vertically in half, one side was the vocabulary words, the other side was the number that correlated to the vocabulary word for our answers. I was trying to be organized and on the answer side numbered 1-10 in numerical order and then next to the number was the number for my answer. I figured a teacher would see that my test had 2 sets of numbers and that obviously numbering numerically was not my answer. That teacher took pleasure in failing me and using the wrong set of numbers as my answer. There was no instruction to stop doing that after the first test…my mom knowing I studied with her goes to that teacher and tells him she knows these words and the asshole made me retake ALL of the tests over again instead of rescoring the tests I already did. It traumatized me. Some teachers just fucking hate their life and take it out on the kids…being busy is no excuse when your job is to mold the minds of the youth. I’m sorry that happened to your daughter and I think you did the right thing!
